I have to admit, I'm a Yelper. Wherever I am, whether in my own city or traveling, I check Yelp for the top-rated restaurants near me. It helps me narrow down my options, steer clear of any low-rated restaurants, and find awesome foodie spots in the city.
To help out my fellow Yelpers, I always “Check In” to a restaurant, cafe, or bar I visit with a photo of the space to give others an idea of what the place looks like. I recently discovered that for some restaurants, once you “Check In”, you get a coupon. Oftentimes, these check in coupons will be for $10 off your purchase, or a buy one, get one 50% off deal. This helps the restaurant boost their information on Yelp, and helps you get a great deal. Simply take a photo of the restaurant, your food, or the bar while you're there in the Yelp app.
Yelp has also recently added a Cash Back feature. When searching restaurants, cafes, and bars near you, just filter for Cash Back options. Link your credit card and receive 7-10% Cash Back at any of those restaurants. It is that easy. The Cash Back stockpiles throughout the month, and then a credit is issued to the linked credit card.
Sometimes I check the Yelp app to help me decide where to dine. However, sometimes I just go back to my favorites. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a notice that I received cash back by dining at a restaurant I didn't even realize had a Cash Back deal. Score!
