We’ve broken down exactly what you need to know for each card below. These are the 10 best travel rewards credit card offers for August 2019.

1. Chase Sapphire Preferred Card

The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is currently offering 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points after spending $4,000 in the first three months of card membership. The annual fee is $95 and it’s not waived for the first year of card membership.

The sign-up bonus alone is worth at least $750 if redeemed through the Chase portal. This is one of the top travel rewards cards out there for beginners.

2. Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is currently offering 50,000 bonus miles after spending $3,000 in the first three months of card membership. It’s one of our top picks for points and miles beginners.

The Venture card is impressive because it earns 2x miles on every dollar you spend AND the annual fee of $95 is waived for the first year of card membership. Because Venture Miles redeem at 1 cent each, the sign-up bonus is worth $500.

We love the Venture card because the miles can be used for simple statement credits on all travel purchases. Capital One Venture Miles are fantastic for covering the cost of things traditional points and miles cannot cover like cruises, tours, or Airbnb.

It even offers an up to $100 fee credit towards Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. Additionally, Capital One recently launched the ability to transfer miles to a number of partner airlines.
