You can keep posting your old vacation photos with “Throwback Thursday” or “Take me back!” captions, but that's living in the past. It's time to look ahead: The best trip of your life can – and should – be in 2025.
Most airlines sell flights as far out as 11 months in advance (if not a full year out), which means could can book flights now for trips in every month in 2025…except December. Take it from us: Our team of flight deal analysts at Thrifty Traveler Premium have already found incredible cheap airfare and points and miles deals for trips all over the world next year.
I went ahead and did the work for you, rounding up the best flight deals we've sent that you can already book for each month of the 2025. Spend January in Australia, the Fourth of July in Nantucket, or fly the best business class in the world next November – all for some of the lowest prices and rates we can remember.
Stop flipping through your old photos, because the best ones are the photos you haven't taken yet.

January: Australia for $684 RT
When the darkest, most brutally cold months hit here in the northern hemisphere, Australia is firing up its peak summer season down under.
Perhaps nowhere in the Lower 48 is that difference most stark than in a place like Minnesota, too…
That's why these $684 roundtrip fares to Brisbane (BNE) were such an awesome surprise. Best of all: These low fares were for main cabin, which includes free changes, free seat selection, and a checked bag!
The above fare was one of several we included in this Thrifty Traveler Premium flight deal.
This was one of the fares we included in this Thrifty Traveler Premium flight deal, The other fares are all exactly the same, too.
The other fares are all exactly the same, too. This is American Airlines and its partner Qantas targeting Delta flyers based in the four Delta hubs listed above. In an effort to steal away Delta's business, American had to drop fares to unthinkable lows. When airlines fight for your travel dollars, we all win!
We've seen this surprising airfare trend play out time and time again this year as airlines have launched new routes this underrated Australian city. If you want to get to Australia in January or really anytime in 2025, Brisbane is going to be the way to go.
February: The Bahamas from $239 RT
In the heart of winter, when spring is still too far away and fall seems like an eon ago, is when you need a beach the most. The Bahamas have those beaches.
Luckily, low airfare to the Bahamas has been popping up recently, including for those February months when you need a beach the most.
This nonstop flight from New York (JFK) to Nassau (NAS) started at just $318 roundtrip, but it was just one example of dozens of departure cities who benefitted from fares below $398 roundtrip!
Many travelers want to get down to the Bahamas, so six different airlines are fighting for that business. Whether it's Air Canada, Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, or United, someone wants to get you to Nassau for less than $398.
Plus, New Yorkers and Miamians don't get to enjoy all the spoils of cheap flights alone, either. Travelers in smaller or farther away cities like Erie, Pennsylvania (ERI), or Quebec City (YQB) could also snag low, low fares to Nassau this February.
March: Delta One Suites to Seoul from 102K SkyMiles
If you get a full week off for spring break, make the most of it! That same beach in Florida is going to be there every year, but extremely cheap Delta One fares bookable with SkyMiles won't be.
For March 2025, though, we found wide-open availability to use your SkyMiles to fly Delta One Suites to Seoul, South Korea (ICN)!
These Delta One fares are typically 250,000 SkyMiles or more, and usually Delta will make you book them roundtrip for closer to 500,000 SkyMiles. Not this time!

If you think that seat would be a comfy way to fly across the Pacific Ocean and you have some SkyMiles stockpiled, consider your spring break trip planned.
And like all of our best flight deals, you can book this one from more than 100 cities with Delta service across the U.S. and Canada!
April: Amsterdam Tulip Festival Under $599 RT
Go search for flights to Amsterdam and you might find some good deals! Many airlines fly there and prices stay low. But everyone wants to visit Amsterdam in April during the city's world famous Tulip Festival, so when you search for flights to AMS during April, you might see some scary fares.
Not this year…
Just a few weeks ago we unearthed these Amsterdam (AMS) fares across the Atlantic for less than $599, with ample availability during the beautiful tulip bloom pictured below.
If April in Amsterdam has been on your travel bucket list, it's time to knock it off, because fares like this don't come around very often.
May is a funky travel month. You're a little early for peak summer in the northern hemisphere, and it's past peak summer in the southern hemisphere, but if you want to travel to Southeast Asia, May is just outside the rainy season and some of these idyllic destinations are ready for visitors like you.
Singapore Airlines flies to many of these places – think Bali (DPS), Phuket (HKT), Bangkok (BKK), Cebu (CEB), and more – and wants to be the one to get you there.
The problem is that these flights to Southeast Asia are incredibly long. So long, in fact, that Singapore Airlines operates a special long-haul aircraft from New York City (JFK, EWR) to Singapore (SIN) that doesn't even include an economy cabin, only premium economy and business class.
Yet, they price their premium economy seats like economy on these routes…
Read our review of Singapore Airlines Premium Economy!
I just took the certified longest flight in the world from JFK to Singapore (SIN) and was surprised to find it was not nearly as painful as I was anticipating. In fact, it was downright enjoyable, and comfortable to boot. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, especially if I could connect on to Bali or Phuket next time.
And for travelers based in NYC (or for those who can book easy positioning flights to get there), this flight deal is a steal!
These roundtrip fares are amazing considering how long you're in the air and the class of service you get with Singapore Airlines. You'll enjoy this ride and be bragging about your May 2025 vacation for years to come.
June: Northern Europe in Finnair Biz Class from 49K Each Way
Where better to spend the sunniest month of the year than to fly north to where the sun barely sets at all during the summertime.
Oh…and you get to do it in style!
We keep finding great award availability – flights you can actually book with points and miles – to fly Finnair business class to up to Helsinki (HEL) and onward to several other Nordic destinations around Europe to really soak in the beginning of summer 2025.
If you've got Capital One points, you can transfer those directly to Finnair to snag one of these seats for just 63,000 Avios each way. But if you've got other flexible credit card points like American Express, Chase, Bilt, or Wells Fargo points you can move them to Finnair via British Airways to book for the same rate.
Got Citi points? You can turn them into Cathay Pacific Asia Miles and book via Cathay instead.
The end result is the same: Summertime spent in Scandinavia or northern Europe during the very best time of year in that region.
July: Nantucket Under $248 RT
There's something a little romantic about summertime in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The island is pure Americana. It's all lighthouses, beaches, seafood, and ice cream shops perfectly encapsulate my mental image of what summertime should be.
And while it has a reputation as a jaunt for the rich and famous, the airfare you'll find to get to Nantucket (ACK) next summer doesn't scream rich and famous.
Just a few weeks ago we dug up these roundtrip fares to ACK exclusively flying next summer, when the airlines operate the most service to the island.
Flying from as far away as Milwaukee (MKE), Madison (MSN), and Minneapolis (MSP), travelers could get to the island for some of the lowest rates we've seen.
August: London in Virgin Biz Class from 21K Each Way
This flight deal was so good that about half of the employees at Thrifty Traveler booked it for themselves!
That's how you know we're not lying about this stuff: We regularly get high on our own supply.
I was one of the few team members who did not book this deal, and I'm still buried in regret. If I had it my way, I would have booked lie-flat seats to London (LHR) for just 21,000 points in August 2025.
We dubbed this deal a “Unicorn Fare” because of how rare it was. Virgin's transition to dynamic pricing actually resulted in far better deals than we typically see, and just a quarter of the taxes and fees!
Your Virgin points (or the Amex, Bilt, Capital One, Chase, Citi, or Wells Fargo points you transfer in) could take you there – especially if you capitalized on one of those transfer bonuses!
This deal is long gone, now, but my August 2025 would have been a lot better had I moved a little faster.
September: Faroe Islands from $397 RT
By now, you've probably heard someone mention the Faroe Islands – the archipelago in the North Atlantic perfectly triangulated between Iceland, Scotland, and Norway has cropped up on a number of destination lists the past couple of years.
Since Icelandair launched service to the Faroe Islands, it's suddenly gotten a lot easier for Americans to fly there with one quick stop. And while prices weren't cheap immediately, in classic Icelandair fashion, they are now!
This flight deal flying to the Faroe Islands next September was a perfect example. And some of these fares have gone down a little bit since we sent the deal, too. Chicago (ORD) benefitted from the absolute lowest fares, but there aren't any expensive fares on this list.
We've been a little obsessed with the Faroe Islands, and our Social Media Manager Lauren went earlier this year and said it was epic.
Watch: Things to Know Before Visiting the Faroe Islands
My advice: If you can get a price like this in September, take it!
October: Machu Picchu Flying LATAM Biz Class
Travel is all about balance. You can trek through the mountains of Peru to see the world famous Machu Picchu…but you can also sip champagne in lie-flat business class to get there!
That's the promise of LATAM, which flies nonstop to Lima, Peru (LIM) from several U.S. gateways. And LATAM also offers these fancy-looking lie-flat seats – giving travelers a fancy way to pull off the bucket list trip of their dreams.
You can book LATAM business class through Virgin Atlantic, Alaska Airlines, or even Qatar Airways, so no matter what points or miles you've been stockpiling, you've got a way to book these flights.
November: Fly the Best Business Class in the World from 59K Points
We think Qatar QSuites is the best business class in the world, and so does everyone else. That means the only way to reliably book Qatar Qsuites is by booking far, far in advance, when the seat map is still empty.
To accommodate that, Qatar allows you to book almost a full 12 months out in many cases – a full month or two before many other airlines sell their fares.
That means, if you want to fly the best business class in the world, you can book it for November 2025 already!
Using your points and miles is the only way this works, as these QSuites fares can cost you upwards of $5,000 each way. But thanks to British Airways and Qatar's Avios program, you can leverage your Amex, Bilt, Capital One, or Chase points to make this possible.
Qatar flies to all of these U.S. and Canadian cities, too, meaning you might have Qatar flights leaving from your home airport (or a nearby one), too.
December: It's Too Early…But Let's Go Ski Steamboat!
December 2025 fares aren't on sale anywhere yet, but we have a pretty good idea of what you can find for cheap in December, highlighted by what we've already seen in December 2024.
If next year is anything like this year, that means you might be able to book some early season skiing in Steamboat Springs, Colorado (HDN).
This fare from Dallas (DFW) to Hayden (HDN) gives you a ski trip over Christmas and in that coveted post-Christmas ski week. While the snow will be best if you ski later in the year, this week is invaluable for families tied to the academic calendar.
We loved this deal because of the Christmas and New Year's availability, and because you could book it nonstop from these six U.S. airports.
This 2024 deal may or may not be a harbinger of things to come in 2025, but we sure hope it is!
Bottom Line
Stop living in the past! You can already book flights for 11 of the 12 months in 2025, and if you want great deals like these, you should get booking.
Whether you want to fly business class to Machu Picchu next October, want to spend April with the Tulips in Amsterdam, or want to escape to the beaches of the Bahamas in mid-winter, we've got a flight deal for (nearly) every month of 2025 already.
