American Express has added a great new offer for upcoming stays at select IHG hotel properties in the U.S. that will save you a quick $50 on your next trip.
Spend $250 or more on an eligible IHG hotel stay, you’ll get $50 right back as a statement credit. That’s up to 20% off your stay with IH. long as you book and pay by June 15, 2024. But only select IHG hotel brands are eligible – and only within the U.S. and U.S. territories.

As with all Amex offers, this one is targeted – it may not be available to all cardholders. That said, this offer seems to be pretty widely available whether you've got *amex platinum*, the *amex gold*, or even co-branded Amex cards like Delta SkyMiles credit cards.
Just log in to your American Express Account and see if you can add it to your American Express card. If it's there, simply add it to your Amex card and then use that card to book an IHG stay in the U.S. through June 15, 2024.
If you haven't used Amex Offers before, think of them as digital coupons exclusively for Amex cardholders for purchases like airfare or hotels as well as dining, entertainment, or everyday shopping. Add the offer to your Amex card, use that card to book an eligible IHG stay, and Amex will give you money right back for the discount within a few days as a statement credit on your account.
Where to Find Amex Offers
Finding and using Amex Offers couldn't be easier. Simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called “Amex Offers & Benefits.” It's available through the Amex mobile app as well.
If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.
