We're now seeing nonstop, roundtrip flights to Dublin (DUB) for just 18,600 or so SkyMiles for a trip to Ireland later this year. That's a quarter of what virtually any other airline would charge you for to fly to Ireland and back and easily one of the best Delta SkyMiles flash sales to Europe of all time.

In this case, we're only seeing these unthinkably cheap rates on the nonstops from both Boston (BOS) and New York City (JFK) … but at these prices, it could be well worth booking a separate positioning flight to the East Coast in order to make your way to the Emerald Isle.

Let's be clear: Forking over less than 20,000 miles for roundtrip flights to Europe is unbeatable. Most airlines typically charge 30,000 miles (or much, much more) for a one-way flight in economy to Europe – and with Delta, you're more often to see rates of 100,000 SkyMiles roundtrip. And while award surcharges are on the rise elsewhere, not to Ireland: You'll pay less than $50 roundtrip in taxes and fees on top of that paltry sum of miles.
If you're hoping to make your way to Dublin and you've got some SkyMiles (or transferrable American Express points) sitting around, don't wait. Delta deals do not get better than this – but we'd be happy if Delta proved us wrong.

Unfortunately, the lowest rates in this deal are on Delta's pesky basic economy award fares. That means you won't be able to pick a seat for free and you won't earn Medallion Qualifying Dollars (MQDs) towards elite status.
But at these rates, does it really matter? If you have to cancel, you'll forfeit a sizable 19,900 SkyMiles if you decide to cancel your ticket later on … more than the actual ticket price (in many cases). Still, if you value the flexibility and extras that come with a Delta Main ticket, it could be well worth the extra 20,000 miles or so to book a main cabin fare, getting free seat selection and cancellation to get all your SkyMiles back if plans change.

For the best results, click the “Price Calendar” button to get the clearest view of what's available. It should look like this instead. As you can see, departing on a Tuesday or a Wednesday is the best bet to get these low rates.
