London is calling, and this is your ticket to get there using half the Delta SkyMiles as normal.

That’s right, we’re back with another amazing (and unpublished) Delta SkyMiles flash sale. We found flights to London-Heathrow (LHR) and back starting from just 32,000 SkyMiles round trip, with flights available from November all the way through April 2022. But this is a nationwide deal: You can get to London and back from almost every airport in the country for 38,000 SkyMiles or less.

Some availability has disappeared since we first sent this to Thrifty Traveler Premium members last week, but there are still plenty of dates available!

Get more award alerts like this one, plus cheap domestic and international fares, with Thrifty Traveler Premium!

Most airlines charge 60,000 miles or more for roundtrip flights to London, which makes this flash sale a steal. These are Delta’s main cabin economy fares – not Delta basic economy –  which means you’ll get a free checked bag and free seat selection, too.

The one downside with flying straight into London is some unavoidably high taxes and fees: Every award ticket will get hit with $180 to $195 or so in fees. Even so, you’re still getting good value from your SkyMiles as many of these fares cost $750 to $1,000 roundtrip or more.

After a long pause during the pandemic, London and the rest of the U.K. reopened to American travelers in August. Fully vaccinated tourists are free to enter but must take a COVID-19 test two days after arriving in the U.K. Not vaccinated? You’ll need a pre-travel test as well as that second test upon arrival – plus, you’ll have to quarantine for 10 days.

The best part about booking with SkyMiles (aside from these cheap rates, of course) is how flexible it is. You can cancel these award fares at any time for free to get your SkyMiles and taxes and fees back. That makes it much easier to book at this low mileage if you’re uncertain, as you can easily cancel if necessary.

And you can truly fly to London from almost anywhere at these deeply discounted rates. You’ll find nonstop fares from Boston (BOS), New York City (JFK), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) which is set to resume in late March 2022, and Seattle (SEA) for 32,000 to 38,000 SkyMiles. But it’s not just nonstops on sale: You can connect from almost any airport with Delta service, big or small, for the exact same rates.

How To Book the Sale

Here’s a quick walkthrough on how to book.

First, head to Delta’s website and do a normal search from your home airport with Delta service – and almost any airport will do. Be sure to click “Shop with Miles.”

Second, choose “Price Calendar” to maximize the dates viewable. You should easily be able to find availability from November through mid-April 2022 or so, though availability will vary depending on your origin.

  • There are no nonstops MSP-LHR
Delta has not reinstated it and it is not on the schedule until April 2022 and even then, only limited days a week.
Remove the MSP nonstop asterisk and thanks for wasting my time.
Also, after the $200 in taxes and fees, you might be better off just purchasing a revenue ticket. My advice, do the math on the Skymiles valuation first.

    • MSP-LHR is currently set to resume in late March, that’s why it’s on this list. As for being better off purchasing a cash ticket: Perhaps. But even factoring in close to $200 in fees, you’re still potentially coming out far ahead on a $750-$1,000 ticket – especially considering these award rates are for the higher-priced main cabin fares.

  • I’ll save all MSP flyers the trouble.
There are 3 departure dates this is available on the non-stop:
    March 28
    April 3
    April 4
