Here's how the drama unfolded in round two!

Machu Picchu blew away Barcelona's famous La Sagrada Familia in almost laughable fashion, with nearly three times as many votes. It's becoming clear just how highly ranked this Incan citidel in Peru is for travelers. At this point, it has to be a favorite to win it all.

Running away from their competitor with another dominant performance, we saw the Eiffel Tower stand strong and nearly double the amount votes against the Sydney Opera House. The hype is real for this iconic landmark in the heart of Paris.

But the quarterfinals weren't all blowouts. The Taj Mahal narrowly won its matchup against the Colosseum of Rome by just 230 votes – snagging 54% of the vote. We'll see just how far this historic site in India can carry their momentum.

Still, the closest matchup of the quarterfinals was between the Pyramids of Giza and the Cliffs of Moher. It was a photo finish, with the Pyramids of Giza squeaking through to beat the stunning Irish coastline by less than 6 percentage points. It was great to see the Cliffs of Moher put up such a strong fight against one of the seven wonders of the world – but the pull of those pyramids was just too powerful.

Fantastic Final Four

We've got a classic final four on tap, with some of the world's most treasured landmarks battling to advance to the finals.

There's the Eiffel Tower going up against Machu Picchu. And the Taj Mahal is squaring off against the Pyramids of Giza. Choose wisely!
