Our Wishes in Flight drive with Make-A-Wish Minnesota has come to a close, and the results are in. Together, we raised a whopping 1.6 million airline miles in just one week.Â
While we fell short of the 2 million miles we had hoped to raise, 1.6 million miles will still go far. That sum will help dozens of Minnesota children with critical illnesses and their families go on a much-needed trip together for some hope and joy.
Those miles helped us break the news to Daisy that her wish to go to Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas is being granted. It was a heartwarming moment for a child and family that have endured more treatment, pain, and heartache than any family should.
That's what this was all about: Helping kids like Daisy who have weathered unimaginably hard times.
And for that, we have to thank you. Your generosity with your hard-earned miles made this possible. Whether you donated 1,000 spare miles or 50,000 or more, every bit counts. It all helped build up a sum of 1.6 million miles that will help grant countless more wishes.
