One of the many benefits of holding *biz platinum* is that you get $400 in credits annually to use online at Dell, split up into two $200 installments. You'll receive $200 from January through June and another $200 from July through December. These credits are a use-it-or-lose-it benefit, meaning any balance you have left each six-month period will be forfeited.
While half of those credits have already lapsed, Business Platinum cardholders still have another $200 credit to use up before the end of the year … and potentially, for the last time.
While the thought of using $200 towards a new Dell computer might not sound overly exciting, you might be surprised at the vast array of products you can buy at Dell.com. From furniture to smart devices and other tech, they've got much more than just Dell products to offer.

How to Get the Credit (And Stack Offers!)
To take advantage of the semi-annual $200 Dell credit, you must hold the *biz platinum*. While *amex platinum card* comes packed with perks and credits of its own, it does not offer a credit to use at Dell.
If you don't already hold the Business Platinum Card, you can currently earn a big, new cardmember offer: bonus_miles_full
But you might even be targeted for a bigger offer of 200,000 points or more – not by applying straight with Amex or through a site like ours, but via referrals, opening links in an incognito, and targeted emails or pop-ups online!

Once you hold the card, you simply need to log into your American Express account and activate the credit. To do this, head to the benefits tab.
From here, just click to enroll in the benefit. Once enrolled, you can head to Dell.com to begin shopping and spend your $200 credit. Just be warned: If you make a purchase before enrolling, you won't receive the statement credit.
And always make sure to first click through a shopping portal like Rakuten on your way to the Dell website.
While you'll typically earn 5% cashback on your purchase, Rakuten is currently offering 10% cash back! And in the past, we've even seen these rates go as high as 20% cashback. Best of all, because Rakuten allows you to earn Membership Rewards instead of cashback, meaning you can currently earn 10x additional American Express Membership Rewards points instead, at the time of publication.
But wait: There's more! American Express often has Amex Offers that can be added to your Business Platinum Card and stacked with the Dell credit to earn points and save even more.
Currently, there are offers to earn additional Membership Rewards points for purchases with Dell. Simply an offer like this to your Business Platinum card before making your purchase at Dell and get an even bigger return on your spending.

Once you have taken these steps, you're ready to use your $200 Amex Business Platinum Dell credit. Here are some of our favorite items to put it to good use – including many under $200.
Best Ways to Use Your Dell Credits from the Amex Business Platinum Card
Ring Doorbell Bundle
Dell sells an entire suite of smart home products. One of the most useful we've found are doorbell security cameras by Ring, which replace your traditional doorbell and give you the peace of mind that your front porch is being recorded should anything occur. It not only helps create a sense of safety, but easily allows you to see who's at your door before going to answer it.
For $199, you could get a Ring doorbell bundled with a Stick Up Camera, which you could install to capture more of your property from a different vantage point. You could access your footage and view your cameras live via your mobile device or connect it to Alexa.
Bose Noise Canceling Headphones
If you're in the market for new headphones, Dell sells a variety of home audio products that will qualify for your Amex Business Platinum Dell credit. And while some cost more than the $200 credit covers, you can substantially cut down your out-of-pocket cost by shopping through Dell.
Our favorites are the Bose QuietComfort headphones for $249 – which cost just $49 after using the $200 Dell credit.
Already have a pair of headphones? Pick up the Amazon Echo Studio Smart speaker for $199, instead, which is Alexa enabled.
Dell 32″ Curved Monitor
Whether you're working from home or looking for a new office computer set-up, using your Amex Business Platinum Dell credit on a new external monitor could make your days more efficient. Especially a curved monitor that makes viewing your screen from multiple vantage points much easier.
This 32″ Dell Curved Monitor is $199 … completely covered by the credit through the end of the year.
Garmin Sports Watch
Another great way to use your semi-annual $200 Dell credit is by picking up a Garmin Forerunner 55 sports watch, which clocks in right at $199. Forget about the Apple Watch. Garmin watches are made for gym rats and runners to track their workouts and overall fitness.
Arozzi Gaming Chair
Ergonomics are important when it comes to setting up a home office. And believe it or not, gaming chairs are perhaps one of the most comfortable pieces of furniture you could buy as they are designed for long hours of sitting for gaming sessions.
This $229 Arozzi Mugello Special Edition Gaming Chair could be yours for just $29 out of pocket after using the credit.
Logitech USB Microphone
Whether you're a streamer, podcaster, recording a voiceover, or just need a microphone to use for videoconferencing, snagging the Logitech G Yeti GX Microphone will ensure you have crystal clear audio for any situation. At just $149, you'd be able to cover the full cost with your credit and still have a little to spare.
Google Nest Smart Thermostat
Not only does it look sleek, but the Google Nest Smart Thermostat could give you the convenience to control your home's temperature and potentially save on electricity bills by optimizing the timing of your heating or cooling. It could be yours for just $129 – again, well within budget for anyone looking to maximize their Business Platinum Card's Dell credit.
Bottom Line
Dell.com provides a plethora of options for using the semi-annual $200 Dell credit that comes with the Business Platinum Card from American Express. And even though the card has a $695 annual fee (see rates & fees), this benefit can provide a ton of value and help offset a big chunk of that cost.
Through the end of 2024, you'll get $200 from July through December. Just be sure to use it up, as any leftover amount will be forfeited.
These are good ways, but doubt that they are the “Best” ways to redeem your Dell Credits from the Amex Business Platinum Card. As everyone needs are different.
Sorry I’ve been brainwashed to fact check everything I read/hear nowadays.
If you have a newer phone that supports the new 802.11AX standard, or if you and your spouse are WFH, add a few kids/teens/college students streaming, a handful of smart devices doorbells cameras, etc – your router may not be able the congestion or the traffic load. Then a new router and our DOCIS 3.1Modem might be best bang for you credits.
If your a reseller, then many great options exist to flip for cash.
“Great ways to Use Your Dell Credits from the Amex Business Platinum Card” is less likely to get flagged for a Fact check, LOL.
