If you want to get to Asia in comfort and style, you can't do much better than Taiwanese airline EVA Air. It's one of the world's best airlines, with one of the world's best business class experiences to boot.
That's why this latest promotion from the frequent flyer program LifeMiles is so exciting. You can book a business class flight to Hong Kong (HKG), Taipei (TPE), Shanghai (PVG), or Seoul-Incheon (ICN) and back for just 64,000 miles each way – down from the norm of 75,000 miles. Other airlines like United charge 80,000 miles or more for the exact same flight.
One Mile at a Time has all the details on this promotion. It's available from several U.S. cities like Chicago-O'Hare (ORD), Los Angeles (LAX), New York City-JFK (JFK), and San Francisco (SFO). These sale rates end August 14, but you can get this deal for travel far past that so long as you book by mid-August. That means you could potentially snag a deal for flights all the way out to July 2020.
Of course, there are other flights within Asia that are eligible for discounts. There are also some savings if you're flying economy or want to splurge for First Class, though they aren't as large. Check out all the deals available on LifeMiles' promo page.

How to Earn LifeMiles
LifeMiles is a quirky but useful frequent flyer program of the Colombian airline Avianca. It's got the perfect mix of low award rates and low cash award fees when you use your miles. And these miles are easy to earn, as you can transfer them from American Express, Citi, Capital One, and Marriott.
Stacked with this bonus, it's one of the best uses of those points you can find – especially since there's currently a transfer bonus when sending Capital One miles to LifeMiles!
Considering most of these discounted flights will be on EVA Air, it's a treat. Some flights may be in Air China's first or business class.
You could even score a deal on the once-in-a-lifetime flight from Chicago-O'Hare (ORD) to Taipei (TPE) on EVA's legendary Hello Kitty flight.
Unfortunately, the savings don't carry through if you want to travel beyond some of the Asian cities that make the cut for this promo. For example, a one-way business class flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Bali (DPS) will still cost the normal 78,000 miles.
LifeMiles is one of the few programs where it could make sense to buy miles, thanks to massive bonuses the airline regularly offers when buying miles. Case in point: You can currently get up to 145% bonus when buying LifeMiles via One Mile at a Time.
With that bonus, you could buy enough miles to book a one-way trip in EVA business class for just $990. Transferring credit card points will always be a better deal. But considering those flights typically cost more than $4,000, it could make sense.
Bottom Line
EVA is one of the best airlines in the world, with a top-notch business class and comfortable economy experience. These savings could be considerable if you want to get to Asia comfortably. But be sure to book by Aug. 14!
