Amex is out with a new offer to help you save big on an upcoming stay at Marriott Bonvoy hotels: Spend $450 or more and you’ll get $200 right back as a statement credit.
Unlike other Amex Offers we’ve seen in the past, this one is good at any Marriott property – from run-of-the-mill Fairfield Inns to top-tier St. Regis hotels – within the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. If you end up spending exactly $450, the $200 statement credit amounts to a nearly 45% discount on your hotel stay – certainly worth taking advantage of!
The terms of this Amex Offer show it’s valid from today through the end of November, but that doesn’t mean you have to complete your stay by that deadline: You could book a prepaid reservation for later in the year or well into 2027 and still put it to use.
Alternatively, we’ve seen some travelers report an offer for a $150 rebate on $300-plus in spending with Marriott – that’s an even bigger 50% rebate, albeit with less total dollars back on pricier stays.
No matter which offer you have, this is a great way to save on an upcoming Marriott hotel stay, and with the holiday travel season right around the corner, the timing should be perfect for many to take advantage. Even if you’re booking a stay with points, you could add this card as your payment method to save on incidentals, dinners, the spa, or other amenities charged to your room, and it should count towards the spending requirement.
While the terms suggest this offer can’t be used for gift card purchases, that often isn’t the case for in-person purchases. If you’ve got a Marriott property in your area that sells gift cards (not all do), you could try buying one at the front desk for an upcoming stay outside the Americas, or even use it for reservations beyond the Nov. 30 expiration date.
Like all Amex Offers, this one is targeted – and maybe only available to Marriott co-branded cardholders. Several members of our team have tried to find this offer, and so far, we’ve only seen it on Marriott cards.
As with all Amex offers, you can reach the spending requirement over multiple transactions – there’s no requirement that you spend the full amount in one fell swoop. If you’ve got multiple stays coming up between now and Nov. 30, you can hit the spending requirement in multiple transactions.

Where to Find Amex Offers
If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, think of them as digital coupons exclusively for Amex cardholders for purchases like airfare or hotels, as well as dining, entertainment, or everyday shopping. Add one of these to your Amex card, use that card to book an eligible Marriott stay, and Amex will give you the discount right back as a statement credit on your account within a few days.
To check if you’re targeted, simply log in to your American Express app and scroll down near the middle of the screen – there should be a box called “Offers.”
If you’re using the desktop version of the American Express website, you’ll find Amex Offers about halfway down the homepage. Here, you can view all the Amex Offers that are currently available, see which ones you’ve already added to your card, and even review your lifetime savings with the Amex Offers program.
Just remember that if you have multiple Amex cards, you’ll need to cycle through them, as the offers will differ for each card. If you see an offer you like, simply add it to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.
Thrifty Tip: Amex displays up to 100 offers at a time. If you’re not seeing the one you want, try adding a handful to your card, logging out, and then logging back in to see if you get some new ones!

Bottom Line
There are a couple of awesome new Amex Offers that let you save up to 50% on an upcoming Marriott stay in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Depending on which version of the offer you have, you can earn up to $200 back when spending $450 or more with the hotel chain between now and Nov. 30.
Even if you don’t have a stay planned before then, you should have no problem booking a prepaid rate for a later date to trigger this credit – so long as you book before that deadline. But act fast: Amex Offers like these tend to disappear quickly as travelers gobble them up.
