Earlier this year, Delta made it clear it wanted to fly from Los Angeles (LAX) to Manila (MNL) … and now, it's official.

Starting Mar. 28, 2027, Delta will fly nonstop from LAX to the Philippines on one of its A350-900 aircraft with Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main cabins.

Most importantly, Delta will connect travelers across its network to the Philippines. If history is any indication, Delta SkyMiles flash sales are sure to follow this route as they did for Taipei (TPE) and Hong Kong (HKG) – both of which have been bookable from 25,000 SkyMiles roundtrip in economy or from 85,000 SkyMiles each way in Delta One.

LAX is the perfect gateway for travelers flying in the pointy end of the plane: Delta now boasts not one, but two Delta One Lounges for premium passengers out of Los Angeles (LAX). The most recent addition is the first step in Delta's three-part plan to renovate the lounge experience for premium travelers like the ones who'll fly to MNL next year.

When this route starts next spring, Delta will join Philippine Airlines in flying from LAX-MNL, which Philippine Airlines runs two or three times per day all year. Delta plans to operate this route three times per week at launch, before going daily on June 7.

At the time of publication, these fares are not yet on sale – but that should happen in the coming days.

Bottom Line

There's a new option for Delta flyers to reach Asia, thanks to this new route from Los Angeles (LAX) to Manila (MNL)!

Ripe for a SkyMiles flash sale in the near future, this route will connect Delta flyers from across the country to the Philippines, starting in March 2027.
