One of Delta's drabbest Sky Clubs just got a massive facelift.
The airline on Tuesday announced the official re-opening of the Delta Sky Club at Denver (DEN), located near the old location on the fourth floor of Concourse A. The new space clocks in at 13,000 square feet, with room for 230 seats for Delta flyers as well as the usual amenities of modern Sky Clubs including a bar, a media room, two food buffets, and beverage stations.
But Delta's not done yet. According to a release, the airline will expand again by another 6,000 square feet “by year's end,” bringing the total space to more than 19,000 square feet and 400 seats. The further expansion will also bring in an additional beverage stations and a business area with five soundproof phone booths – a staple of modern Sky Clubs – and printers.
As with all new lounges, this new Denver outpost will feature a few nods to the Rocky Mountain's local flavor, including “wildflower-inspired motifs,” “deep jewel tones,” “earthy hues reminiscent of the region's soil and stone,” and “rugged stone slabs and organic materials” that “echo the rockiness and wooded landscapes that define Colorado's character.” That's a lot of words … but yeah, the photos make clear it's nice!
Some locally-inspired cuisine is also promised, including Chile Colorado, Olathe sweet corn, Palisade peaches, and Rocky Ford melon. The bar will showcase premium cocktails (i.e. not free ones) like Elderflower Gin and Tonic and a Yuzu Margarita, too – two cocktail options Delta says it will expand to other clubs soon as part of a new menu.
That's a win-lose situation: Some flyers will surely miss the pour-your-own-drink setup at the Denver lounge – it was one of the few Sky Clubs that still had it. But for Delta flyers tired of the of the lounge's drab predecessor (or those just tired of waiting in line at the Denver Centurion Lounge), this is a big upgrade.
In the announcement, Delta reaffirmed plans for Sky Clubs in Jacksonville (JAX) in 2027, Tampa (TPA) and Fort Myers (RSW) in 2028, and Las Vegas (LAS) in 2029.
How to Get Into the Delta Sky Club Denver
To get into the new Delta Sky Club at DEN, you'll need to have access. And like all Delta Sky Clubs, there are a few ways to get into this new lounge. No matter which route you take, though, you need to be flying Delta that day to get in.
The easiest way is by simply holding *amex platinum* – and not the co-branded Delta version.
This card opens more lounge doors than any other travel credit card on the market. So long as you’re flying Delta that day, you can just show your Platinum card and your boarding pass, and gain access. You can bring up to two additional guests, but it will cost you: Each guest costs $50.

You can also get into the Sky Club for free if you’ve got Delta’s top co-branded credit card, the *delta reserve card*. Much like the Platinum card, you can enter any Sky Club for free so long as you’re flying Delta that day. Reserve cardholders also get four, one-time guest passes each year. After that, you’ll have to pay $50 per guest, too.

But you may need to choose your lounge visits wisely, as Amex and Delta recently capped both premium cards to cut down on overcrowding. Platinum and Reserve cardholders are capped at just 10 and 15 visits per year, respectively, before being forced to pay another. That annual counter resets each year on Feb. 1. You can visit multiple Sky Clubs in the same 24-hour period without using multiple annual visits.
Unfortunately, flyers with the *delta skymiles gold card* and even the *delta skymiles platinum card* can not get access to the Delta Sky Club, even for an extra fee.
Finally, you may need to watch the clock. As part of a previous bid to combat overcrowding, Delta also limits lounge access to three hours before departure. However, flyers still have the ability to get into the lounge upon arrival from a flight after the airline scrapped its plans to eliminate that option.

Bottom Line
A new, hugely expanded and updated Delta Sky Club is now open at Denver (DEN), replacing one of the airline's oldest, most outdated spaces.
The new lounge is much bigger and will expand again later this year, according to a release from Delta.
