There are a handful of business credit cards on the market right now, but none come more packed with money-saving statement credits than *biz platinum*. From airline incidental credits to semi-annual kickbacks for purchases at Dell, there's a lot to keep track of if you plan to maximize the value of carrying this card.

Now, there's another one to add to the list: A new statement credit of up to $200 per year for purchases made at Hilton!

While a $200 Hilton credit sounds really nice on the surface, that total is a quarterly allotment: You'll get $50 in statement credits to use at Hilton properties once every three months. If you don't use it from October through December, you'll lose it. Still, if you stay with Hilton once a quarter or even a few times per year, getting $50 back every few months by paying with your Business Platinum Card is a nice benefit to have.

Since there are still a few weeks left in December, you can take advantage of this new perk right away – just be sure to enroll in your Amex account before swiping your card for your next Hilton stay. Or if you aren't planning to stay with Hilton before the end of the year, consider buying a gift card to use for a future stay! We've seen reports that online and in-person gift card purchases are triggering this new credit.

If this whole setup looks familiar, that's because it is. Amex shook up its lineup of co-branded Hilton cards last year and added the exact same credit to the *Hilton Surpass*. More and more, we're seeing Amex look within – turning to partners like Delta, Hilton, and Resy – when adding new credits to its cards. This is an easy way for the bank to add “value” for cardholders without it having a huge impact on the bottom line.

In most cases, new credits like this come at the expense of something else – either an increased annual fee or the loss of a different benefit – but so far, this is an easy win for cardholders.

For a while it looked like the Business Platinum was set to lose its annual Dell and Adobe credits, though, both of those have now been extended through June 30, 2025. Time will tell if this new Hilton credit is designed to replace one of those perks or if it's solely meant to enhance the card's value proposition as new premium business cards like the *venture x business* enter the market.

Bottom Line

If *biz platinum* currently has a home in your wallet, you got a nice surprise this morning: A new $200 Hilton statement credit. In typical Amex fashion, it's not quite as simple to use as it seems, but getting up to $200 of credit each year at a popular hotel chain like Hilton is a clear win for cardholders.
