On Wednesday, airport food delivery service @AtYourGate launched at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport  (MSP), making it the third airport to offer the service. Chalk this up as just another reason why Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP) consistently ranks as one of the best in the country.

What is @AtYour Gate?

@AtYourGate is an in-airport order and delivery app for passengers, flight crews, and airport employees. All you have to do is simply open the app, order food, coffee, newspapers, clothing or anything else available and sit back while your items are delivered directly to your departure or arrival gate.

After browsing the available options at MSP airport, it looks like you can currently order from Camden food co., Qdoba, the Salty Tart, Holy Land Deli, McDonald's, Black Sheep Pizza, Panda Express, and the Red Cow.

It doesn't appear that there are any retail or news & gift operations available at MSP as of publishing this article, but I am sure they will soon be available.

Our Analysis

This appears to be a fantastic new service and I am excited to try it out on my next trip through the Minneapolis Airport. If you are unfamiliar with an airport, in a time crunch to make your connection or both, this seems like a great way to be efficient with your time and get a meal you actually want.

While there is no shortage of restaurants at MSP, there is only a handful currently available on the app. I imagine that more will be added as the service gets off the ground.

Bottom Line

It is great to see services like this popping up to make the process of travel easier and more comfortable. If you don't have airport lounge access, this seems like a great option to get a meal, coffee or your favorite magazine quickly and efficiently. You can download the app in both the Apple App Store and on Google Play.
