Are you ready for it, Swifties? If you missed out on the Eras Tour and have a *venture x* card in your wallet, you might have a chance to score tickets to one of the final Taylor Swift concerts in the states waiting in your inbox.
Capital One is holding an exclusive sale for select cardholders, allowing travelers and fans with a Venture X to register for a chance to buy tickets to one of the remaining U.S. Eras Tour dates in Miami, New Orleans, or Indianapolis, according to an email sent to some cardholders Monday morning.
This exclusive sale appears to be targeted, as not every Venture X cardholder received the email. Capital One did not immediately respond to a request for comment regarding which members were emailed nor how many concert tickets would be available.
The sale officially begins on Friday, Sept. 13 – but there are a few critical steps you'll need to take first.
First, you'll have to register as Venture X Verified Fan on Ticketmaster with the unique code provided by Capital One in your email and have your Venture X card saved to your Ticketmaster account. You can select up to three Eras Tour shows for which you're interested in tickets.
Venture X cardholders can register using their unique code (delivered via email) at Capital One's dedicated site. You need to register by 12 p.m. ET this Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Sorry to Swifties who were thinking of opening a card for a shot at tickets: Only Venture X cardholders who opened their card prior to Aug. 31, 2024 are eligible for this sale. You'll get an email from Ticketmaster confirming your registration.
Just like previous sales (never forget the great Eras Tour Ticketmaster debacle of 2022), not everyone who registers will have the option to buy tickets.
On Thursday, Sept. 12, Ticketmaster will email select cardholders who registered as Verified Fans confirming their access to the Eras Tour ticket sale. Only those who receive an email confirming their access to the ticket sale will be able to join the queue. All others who have registered will receive an email confirming they have been put on the waitlist.
Tickets will officially go on sale on Sept. 13, 2024 at 1 p.m. local venue time. Selected cardholders will be able to buy up to two tickets, Capital One says.
The superstar has just a handful of dates left on her U.S. tour this October and November, including stops in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis. She currently has three concerts scheduled for each city, including:
- Miami: Oct. 18, 19, and 20
- New Orleans: Oct. 25, 26, and 27
- Indianapolis: Nov. 1, 2, and 3
This isn't the first time Swift has partnered with Capital One to give cardholders exclusive access to presale tickets. That also happened way back when The Eras Tour was first announced in late 2022 … and it was massive.
Demand for tickets back then practically broke the internet, overwhelming Ticketmaster and forcing the exclusive Capital One presale event to be delayed by several days. During that 2022 presale event, any and all Capital One cardholders were eligible to register for special presale ticket access.
This time around, it's far more restrictive: Only travelers with the bank's premium *venture x*. Neither the Venture X Business card nor other Capital One cards are eligible. At $395 a year, the Venture X is not exactly cheap – though a $300 annual travel credit and other benefits make it incredibly easy to come out ahead on that annual fee.
While the Venture X been wildly popular, it's only been available since late 2021. Combined with its higher price tag, that should limit how many travelers storm the digital gates for tickets.

Bottom Line
This could be the last, best chance to get tickets to see the Eras Tour before it's set to wrap this December. So if you're a Swiftie with a Capital One Venture X card, check your email ASAP … and register for this exclusive presale before the deadline this Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET!
I didn’t get an email from Capital One or ticketmaster even though I’ve had Venture X. Do you think this is still targeted for certain Venture X people?
I haven’t received an email and am a Venture X holder. It would be nice to register for this opportunity.
I also did not receive an email. Have reached out to C1 social media for help but no one has responded yet.
Need thissss but in same boat as folks above, card holder but no email. 🙁
In the same boat and haven’t received anything. Have had my card for a while now and am opted into Capital One’s marketing emails
Hmm. I’ve had a Venture X for almost a year, but haven’t received a code yet. Checked my spam folder too. Maybe it’s targeted?
I received the code. I happen to live in one of the three cities (Indianapolis). I guess that could be the reason
I got the email and registered! My birthday is Nov 4 so I’m hoping to get tickets to one of the Indy shows (I live 2 hours away).
Did you get an email today??
Does anyone know how to register for the Capital One marketing emails? I couldn’t find anything on their site. Thanks.
@Mike – in your account, click on Alerts, scroll down to where it says “Marketing” and then click the drop down and it will either say “Subscribed” or you would then need to click edit and then subscribe at that point.
Did anyone get an email today 09/12 after they were able to register? I registered for some dates after getting the code earlier this week but I’m still waiting for an email today. 🙁
