Priority Pass is known for its airport lounges, but that is slowly expanding. They're adding more and more airport restaurants, with solid vouchers to get free or discounted meals at airports nationwide. And now Priority Pass members can save some money on purchases at the airport.
Priority Pass is rolling out Offers, a new partnership with select stores in airports that gets members a discount. These new offers aren’t exactly showstoppers – most will get you 10 percent off select airport retail stores like Coach, FuelRod charging stations and some duty-free shops.
But Priority Pass keeps finding novel ways to enhance the value of their memberships, which you can get for free through certain credit cards (more on that below.)
What is Priority Pass?
Priority Pass operates more than 1,000 airport lounges worldwide, but they can be hit or miss. There are some outstanding lounges abroad, like the El Dorado Lounge at Bogotá (BOG) in Colombia. Many in the U.S. are lackluster, especially after the removal of the outstanding Escape lounges from Priority Pass like our favorite outpost at our home airport, the MSP Escape Lounge.
How to Use Priority Pass Offers
While these new offers may not save you a boatload, every little bit helps. To access these retail discounts, simply log in to your Priority Pass account online or, better yet, through the Priority Pass app. Enter your airport and scope out what offers are available. Find one you want to use, click “Generate Code” and present it to your cashier.
At MSP, for example, there are plenty of 10%-off promo codes for FuelRod as well as a 10% coupon for iStore locations when you purchase $100 or more of electronics. You can also save $5 on chiropractic treatments at Chiroport locations scattered across the terminal.
Check out New York City-JFK (JFK), and you’ll find 10% off codes for stores like Michael Kors, Coach, and some duty-free shops.
One last example: Chicago-O’Hare (ORD), where you can get 10% off purchases of $100 or more at Headphone Hub and inMotion Entertainment.
How to Get Priority Pass
These offers are a little extra sweetener for the lounge access and restaurant credits Priority Pass provides. Priority Pass is available through some of our favorite credit cards that frequent travelers should consider.
At the top of the list are the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Platinum Card from American Express cards. With $550 annual fees, these cards aren’t for everyone. But they more than make up for it with the lounge access and more you’ll get from Priority Pass, along with other outstanding travel perks like a $100 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck, $200-plus in travel credits and much, much more.
Once you’ve got one of these cards, you need only activate your Priority Pass membership to get a membership card and account access through the app.

Bottom Line
These new Priority Pass offers aren’t a game-changer, but Priority Pass is finding new ways to help their members squeeze more value out of the program. Check out your airport and see where you can save.
