How to Keep Our Emails out of Your Spam and Junk Folders

Having trouble getting your Thrifty Traveler Premium email alerts in your inbox? Let's get that fixed!

Hotmail, Gmail, and other major email providers have recently changed how they filter emails for junk. And that means some of our emails may be accidentally marked as Spam or Junk.

Here's what you need to do to make sure you get each and every one of the flight deals you signed up for.

How to Get Email Alerts Straight to Your Inbox

Start by checking your Spam, Junk, Trash, and Promotions folders to make sure our emails are not hiding in there. You can also search for all emails from “Thrifty Traveler” or jared [at] thriftytraveler.com in your email inbox search bar.

If you find our emails in Junk or Spam, here are a few things you can do to make sure they make it straight to your inbox:

  • Mark the email (and other TT emails there!) as “Not Junk/Spam”
  • Drag and drop the email into your inbox
  • Add jared [at] thriftytraveler.com to your email address contacts
  • Create a filter: all emails from jared [at] thriftytraveler.com go to Inbox
