Delta has become more lenient about running flash sales to Tokyo (HND), where it knows many of its customers want to go. But this is more than lenient! Booking a one-way business class flight to Tokyo for less than 150,000 SkyMiles is almost unheard of. Booking it for less than 100,000 … or even 80,000 SkyMiles each way, is completely stunning. 

There were about two dozen cities included in this SkyMiles flash sale under 150,000 SkyMiles each way, including this stunning Minneapolis (MSP) fare and an identical one from Rochester (RST). 

4. Hong Kong from 25K SkyMiles RT (or 85k Each Way in Delta One!)

A roundtrip flight to Asia – that will cost you about $1,200 in cash – shouldn't ever be this cheap. But that's the beauty of these unadvertised flash sales. Flying to Hong Kong (HKG) for just 25,400 SkyMiles and $83 is one of the best deals of the year, hands down. 

But after we found those fares, we wondered whether Delta One fares would also go on sale. Well, guess what?

This brand new Delta route that just kicked off this year was ripe for these kinds of sales, but we didn't know how low SkyMiles would go! 

5. Mexico & the Caribbean from 8K SkyMiles RT

If you don't want or need to go overseas using your SkyMiles, Delta has been putting some serious value into its Mexico and Caribbean redemptions lately, too. These two fares are perfect examples of this. The first one from Pittsburgh (PIT) to Cancún (CUN) is perhaps the lowest rate we've ever seen on Mexico flights from Pennsylvania.

The same goes for the Raleigh (RDU) fare to Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ). We couldn't believe these fares sank to just 10,000 SkyMiles roundtrip – including during peak season on the MBJ fare! 6. Delta One to Chile from 146K SkyMiles RT

Your trip to Patagonia can start in style thanks to this stellar flash sale to Santiago (SCL) flying Delta One! You had to book roundtrip to get the best rate – just 146,000 SkyMiles – which would be well worth it for those rates all the way down to South America and back!

7. London from 19K SkyMiles

This flight deal from Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK) to London-Heathrow (LHR) showcased SkyMiles redemptions for just 22,000 miles roundtrip. With an automatic discount for Delta SkyMiles cardholders, that dropped down to just 18,600 SkyMiles roundtrip!

8. Delta One Suites to Seoul, South Korea from 110K Each Way

For the long, long way across the Pacific to South Korea, Delta deploys its multi-thousand-dollar Delta One Suites to keep fancy customers comfortable up front. But for Premium members, they slashed Delta SkyMiles rates to just 110,000 each way for the nonstop flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), Seattle (SEA), Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), and Salt Lake City (SLC). 

9. Melbourne, Sydney, & New Zealand in Australia from 34K SkyMiles RT

When it comes to a trip Down Under, your SkyMiles will go pretty far compared to other points currencies during a flash sale. We found this sale to Melbourne (MEL) and Sydney (SYD) starting at just 34,000 SkyMiles roundtrip. You can't do better than that for a flight to Australia. 

10. Cape Town, South Africa from 41K SkyMiles RT
