Flight deals are sent directly to your inbox via email as we find them. Our flight deal alert service works differently than a travel agency: we don't make the deals, we find them! When we find a deal from your home airport, we send an email right to your inbox. When you get an email alert for a deal you're interested in, simply follow our instructions to book directly with the airline.

Do you find flights from my hometown?
We find flights from over 200 U.S. & Canadian departure cities! If you live in a small town with a regional airport and don’t think you can get a cheap flight from your airport, you’ll be shocked at the half-off fares we find from your town.

Are these deals for last-minute travel?
Nope - we don't find last-minute deals! We find flight deals available up to 11 months in advance.

What if I only travel once per year?
Even if you only book one flight deal we alert you to a year, you’ll save at least $200 - enough to pay for the next 4 years of your membership!

Will these fares have long layovers?
Our rule of thumb is this: We don’t share any flight deals we wouldn’t book ourselves. We cap the number of stops and duration of layovers to ensure we’re only sending the best deals.

What types of award sales with points and miles do you find?
You’ll get instant alerts for cheap award tickets bookable with frequent flyer miles on American, Delta, and United (and many other loyalty currencies). From economy deals with Delta SkyMiles to first class fares flying ANA or Singapore - we have almost every possible award routing covered!

What about business or first class fares?
We find premium economy, business, and first class fares. Most business & first class deals are from major U.S. cities like NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. To get every business and first class deal we find you can select "All Business Class deals" in your Premium settings.

How do I see the Premium flight deals?
All Premium flight deal alerts will go directly to your email inbox. You can log in to your Premium Settings on the website to change your departure city preferences, email address, billing info, and see member benefits.

How do I log into Thrifty Traveler Premium?
All Premium deals will come directly to you via email, so there’s no need to log in to view the deals. However, to change your departure city, email address, billing preferences, or begin travel card consulting, log in via your Premium settings.

How do I update my departure city preferences?
By default, you'll receive emails for all U.S. and Canadian departure cities. To change your departure preferences you can log in here. Consider adding major cities near you to receive more deals.

I'm not receiving my Premium flight deal alerts. Help!
Your Premium emails are likely going into the “Spam”, “Trash”, or “Promotions” folders. Check out our guide and be sure to mark our emails as “Not Spam”. In Gmail, you can also drag and drop one of our Premium emails into the “Primary” tab, which will ensure it's always in your primary inbox. You can also avoid any issues in the future by adding jared [at] thriftytraveler.com to your email contact list. Do I need to resubscribe each year?
