Want to see more of our breaking news, in-depth guides, credit card offers, airline reviews, and more in your feed? Of course you do – you're reading this, aren't you?

Here's an easy way to make it happen: Add us as a Preferred Source with Google, ensuring that the Thrifty Traveler stories you want to see show up in your Top Stories results. Google just recently rolled out this option to customize what shows up in your results, and it's a great one.

To do so, just follow this link and click the toggle to officially add Thrifty Traveler to your list of Preferred Sources with Google. You'll also see buttons on our stories and homepage to easily do so as well.

So long as you're logged into your Google account, that makes it more likely you'll see our stories when searching on both desktop or mobile – either in Google's “Top Stories” or in a dedicated new “From your sources” container when searching on Google. This is currently only available to users in the U.S. and India.

Algorithm updates and an explosion in AI have rapidly transformed how we all search for and find information on the world's largest search engine. The in-depth information you're looking for can easily get buried by an AI overview or threads on Reddit and Quora … which may or may not be helpful.

We take pride in covering the hard-hitting news, writing accurate guides, and crafting independent reviews that you can trust – we take our editorial guidelines very seriously here. By adding us as a Preferred Source, you'll see more of these stories in your news feed or search results.

Bottom Line

If you want more Thrifty Traveler in your search results and in your life, add us as a Preferred Source on Google today!
