Delta's partnership with Uber is expanding in a big way.
Earlier this year, Delta ditched Lyft and launched a new partnership with Uber that allows SkyMiles members to earn miles on rides and through Uber Eats. And it just got even better: Select Delta SkyMiles credit cardholders can now get a statement credit to cover the monthly $9.99 cost of an Uber One membership, for up to 12 months.
With Uber One, you get free delivery on food, grocery, and other orders (over the minimum subtotal), 6% back on rides as Uber One credit, and other exclusive offers and discounts. If you're already paying for Uber One, switching your payment method to a SkyMiles credit card will put a few extra bucks back in your pocket.
Here's how it works and who qualifies.
Get Up to 12 Months of Complimentary Uber One
If you carry one of the premium Delta SkyMiles® Platinum or Reserve cards (personal or business) you'll get a $9.99 monthly statement credit for up to 12 months when you pay for a monthly Uber One membership with your eligible card.

What is Uber One?
Uber One is Uber's premium monthly membership offering a suite of benefits across rides and Uber Eats, including:
- $0 delivery fees on eligible food, grocery, and alcohol orders
- Up to 10% off eligible deliveries and pickup orders
- 6% back in Uber Cash on eligible rides
- Priority support and faster matching with top-rated drivers and couriers
Normally, Uber One costs $9.99 per month (or $96/year). But with these new Delta card benefits, you can offset that cost entirely with a statement credit – as long as you enroll in a monthly plan and pay with your eligible card.
Bottom Line
If you've got a Delta SkyMiles American Express card, you may now be eligible for up to 12 months of Uber One for free, just by paying for it monthly with your card.
Platinum and Reserve cardholders get 12 free months, while Gold cardholders will get 6. Just don't forget: For now, this is a temporary benefit. Once your promotional credits end, your card will still be charged unless you cancel the membership.
