Planning a trip for this summer or fall? Want to score some discounted room rates but not get stuck holding the bag if your plans change? You’ll want to give this Hyatt promotion a look.

Hyatt is offering 15% to 20% off hotel rates at hundreds of properties so long as you book by Sept. 8, for stays with a check-in date through Dec. 20, 2020. And you’ll also get free breakfast each day during your reservation.

Members of Hyatt’s free World of Hyatt program can get 20% off, while everyone else may be eligible for 15% off room rates. You just have to book through Hyatt.com. by Sept. 8.

Just like all Hyatt reservations, you can book worry-free. If you need to cancel down the line, you can get a refund so long as you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Thrifty Tip: Stack this offer with Hyatt’s “Bonus Journeys” promo to earn triple points on your second stay with Hyatt by Sept. 15.

You won’t find these rates at every single Hyatt property – at least not yet, but more hotels are adding these rates to their booking schedules. Brands from Hyatt Place to Grand Hyatt to Alila Resorts and even Andaz are eligible. Hyatt’s Ziva and Zilara all-inclusive resorts are exempt, as are several Miraval properties and Alila Ventana Big Sur.

Just look for “Members Save More + Breakfast” or “Save 15% + Breakfast,” like at the Grand Hyatt Denver. If you don’t see these rate options at the property you’re looking at, it’s worth waiting to see if they pop up later.

International travel might be dicey in 2020, but these rates are also available at Hyatts abroad – like the Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro, for example.

Bottom Line

Hotels are doing everything they can to try to get people back to booking rooms. But few hotel chains have done more than Hyatt. The combination of cheaper room rates, free breakfast, and the flexibility to cancel penalty-free should making planning a summer or fall trip easier – and cheaper.
