Delta to Europe under 26k SkyMiles RT … Nationwide!

Every few months, Delta runs a flash sale for its flights to Europe for SkyMiles members, and it's usually a fantastic deal at about 35,000-38,000 SkyMiles roundtrip. We love that deal. But this one was record-breaking. 

We've never seen anything quite like this: Nationwide availability – from airports big and small – for 26,000 SkyMiles or less!

Booking a roundtrip flight on Delta to Europe for just 26,000 SkyMiles roundtrip is bananas. However, with a SkyMiles American Express credit card, the price drops as low as 19,000 roundtrip. 

The list of places you can get to is incredible, but the fact that every single U.S. city with Delta service got in on this deal is truly what makes it maybe the best SkyMiles deal we've ever sent. See that city in the bottom left corner of the departure city boxes. That's Kona, Hawaii (KOA)! You can fly from the middle of the Pacific Ocean all the way to Europe and back for 26,000 miles total.

Delta One to Europe for 200k SkyMiles RT

Yeah, a 19,000-SkyMile roundtrip flight to Europe in economy is a sizzling deal, but economy isn't for everyone. If you've been farming SkyMiles and want to use your plump stash on a lie-flat seat instead, opportunities to do so are few and far between with Delta…but not impossible. 

A few months ago we found some wide-open availability to book Delta One roundtrip for just 200,000 SkyMiles – which comes down to 170,000 if you have a Delta credit card. Best of all, this deal included peak summer availability from most cities to the same destinations as the economy deal above. 

Plus, you can book SkyMiles deals from almost any Delta airport, making this super attractive if you live in one of the smaller, regional cities on this half of the list we sent our members. 

Tokyo, Japan from 40k SkyMiles RT

Delta's increasing presence at Tokyo-Haneda (HND) airport is a great thing for Delta flyers – and especially those with SkyMiles. Here's proof:

We found an incredible deal on Delta's brand-new flight to Marrakech (RAK) in Morocco for just 170,000 SkyMiles roundtrip. Better yet, it was available at that rate from nearly 200 airports, big and small, all across the country!

This kind of deal to Marrakech was so rare that it merited our famous “Unicorn Alert” moniker (and corresponding emoji!) to help our members book ASAP, thanks to a text message alert.

A Delta One flight to Africa can be almost impossible to book using points and miles, but not if you have text alerts that let you know when it's time.

Cancún, Mexico from 7k SkyMiles RT

Not to be forgotten, is Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula and Cancún (CUN), where SkyMiles flash sales are nothing new…but never get this cheap. 

Anything under 10,000 SkyMiles roundtrip is a steal to Mexico from many cities – but for a lot of the other places on this list, fares closer to 11,000 or 17,000 SkyMiles roundtrip is still at least half-off the going rate. 

Flights to your beach vacation for a family of four for less than 40,000 SkyMiles roundtrip? That's the power of SkyMiles. 

Brisbane Under 60k SkyMiles RT

If you want a flight to Australia – aim for Brisbane (BNE). That's the advice we've been giving travelers for more than a year now. All the best fares to Australia seem to go through BNE, and Delta is no different. 

34,000 SkyMiles roundtrip…all the way to Australia! That's bananas. Most of the fares on this list were in the 40,000-60,000 range. 

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better value per-mile-flown than this one! 

Taiwan from 25K Delta SkyMiles

Excuse me, Brisbane deal. Taipei (TPE) would like a word…

Fares in the 20,000s to Asia? That's not even possible, right? Wrong.

These 30,000-SkyMile fares (bookable one-way for 15,000, too!) flying through Delta's Seattle (SEA) hub to Taipei (TPE) is maybe the cheapest way we've ever seen to get to and from Asia. With a Delta SkyMiles credit card, and its automatic 15% discount when redeeming SkyMiles on Delta flights, it dropped down to just 25,400 miles roundtrip – with only $44 in taxes and fees! 

And as you can see, almost every Delta city in the country was included in this deal, too. That meant travelers could take advantage from New York City (JFK) to Pasco (PSC) for the same amount of SkyMiles. 

Hong Kong Under 60k SkyMiles RT

When Delta adds new routes, they're usually ripe for a good flash sale. So when Delta announced new nonstop service to Hong Kong (HKG) starting next year, we started searching for good rates every day. 

And wouldn't you know it…

Same story, different country. A nationwide sale under 60,000 SkyMiles roundtrip, with lows in the 30,000s, too. The value on this one is crazy.

How many more excuses can Delta give us to fly across the Pacific Ocean for next to no SkyMiles?

The lowest fare on this deal is a shocker, too! Anchorage (ANC) flyers don't get access to low fares like this very often – especially from one of the northernmost Pacific landmasses all the way to one of the most southern ones. 

But like many of these trans-Pacific flash sales, the deal extends way, way beyond the west coast. Even travelers in Myrtle Beach (MYR), Norfolk (ORF), and Bristol (TRI) could jump on this sale to New Zealand.
