As spring approaches, Hyatt has announced its latest Bonus Journeys promotion for World of Hyatt members this week: You can earn at least 3,000 World of Hyatt bonus points on two-night stays between March 20 and May 26.
One hitch: Your first two-night stay won't trigger this bonus. But after that, so long as you're booking a stay of two nights, you can earn these bonus points at any Hyatt property across the globe – including even MGM locations in Las Vegas and Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties.
That 3,000-point bonus is on top of the normal 5x points (or more) you'll earn for every dollar you spend on your Hyatt reservation. The bonuses are capped at 30 nights or 45,000 points, which shouldn't be an issue for 99% of travelers. And even your existing bookings will qualify for this bonus – you just have to be sure to register for this promo before your stay, and by April 30 at the latest.
Award stays booked with World of Hyatt points count toward this promo, too – in fact, any stay booked directly with Hyatt is eligible. So whether you've already got Hyatt stays in mind for this spring or not, it's worth registering for this promo now before you forget.
It gets even better for travelers with the World of Hyatt Credit Card or the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card. Cardholders will get an extra 500 bonus points for every two-night stay at select Hyatt properties in 10 cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, or Washington, D.C. These bonuses for cardholders are capped at 7,500 bonus points total.
Normal Hyatt members earn 5x points per dollar spent on hotel rates – with bonuses for elite status or Hyatt cardholders. With this 3,000-point (or more) bonus, you could easily add even more to your stash of valuable World of Hyatt points.
