If you've got a Hyatt stay coming up, there's an awesome new Amex Offer that could help you save big at many of the hotel chain's mid-tier properties.
American Express is currently offering a money-saving credit for select Hyatt hotels and resorts: Spend $300 or more, and earn $75 back – that's 25% off a $300 hotel bill. This offer applies when you pay in-person by June 30, 2026, meaning you've got three-plus months to put it to use!
The list of eligible properties includes, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Regency, Destination by Hyatt, and Hyatt brand properties (see the full list of eligible properties). Unlike previous Hyatt Amex Offers, this one isn't bound by geography. You can use it at any of the Hyatt brands listed here – no matter what part of the world you're staying in.

While this discount won't get you very far at some of Hyatt's pricier properties, it could ease the cost of a stay at hotels like the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort, Hyatt Regency Waikiki, or any other hotel that falls under one of these brands. Considering many of these properties charge a resort fee – and exorbitant amounts for on-property dining – this could be a good way to save on additional costs.
Even if you're booking on points, you could add this card as your payment method to save on incidentals!
Just make sure you don't book a prepaid rate, as those aren't eligible for this offer. That restriction means you'll generally have to travel before the expiration date – not just book a stay beforehand. Having said that, you could try calling the hotel directly to make an advance payment by phone – this has worked in the past.
Like all Amex Offers, these are targeted – they may not be available to all cardholders. Fortunately, it seems like most with an *amex platinum card* or *amex gold card* are targeted as well as some co-branded cards, too.
Just log in to your American Express Account and see if you can add it to your American Express card. If it's there, simply add it to your card, use that card to pay for an eligible Hyatt stay before June 30, and Amex will give you money right back as a statement credit on your account – usually within a few days, though the offer terms state it may take up to 90 days.
Where to Find Amex Offers
If you haven't used Amex Offers before, think of them as digital coupons exclusively for Amex cardholders for purchases like airfare or hotels, as well as dining, entertainment, or everyday shopping.
To check if you're targeted, simply log in to your American Express app and scroll down near the bottom of the screen. There should be a box called “Offers”.
If you're using the desktop version of the American Express website, you'll find Amex Offers about halfway down the homepage. Here, you can view all the Amex Offers that are currently available, see which ones you've already added to your card, and even review your lifetime savings with the Amex Offers program.
Just remember that if you have multiple Amex cards, you'll need to toggle through them all, since the offers can differ for each card. If you see an offer you like, simply add it to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.
Thrifty Tip: Amex displays a maximum of 100 offers at a time. If you're not seeing the one you want, try adding a handful to your card, logging out, and then logging back in to see if you get some new ones!
