- Eligibility
- Open to new, first-time subscribers to Thrifty Traveler Premium or Premium+ only.
- Existing Thrifty Traveler Premium or Premium+ subscribers are not eligible.
- Current and past subscribers may not cancel and re-subscribe to take advantage of this first-year promotional rate.
- Promotion Details
- Eligible new subscribers will receive 30% off their first year of Thrifty Traveler Premium or Premium+.
- After the first year, subscriptions automatically renew at the current (as of late August 2026) regular annual rate unless canceled before the renewal date.
- This discount only applies to the first year and does not apply to renewals or future subscription terms.
- Promotion Period
- The 30% off sale is available for a limited time, as specified in promotional materials.
- Non-Transferable & No Cash Value
- This Promotion is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions.
- The promotional discount has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, credit, or applied to prior purchases.
- Preventing Abuse & Fraud
- Thrifty Traveler reserves the right to refuse, revoke, or cancel the discounted subscription if we determine, in our sole discretion, that a user has violated these Terms or engaged in any fraudulent activity.
- Users found creating multiple accounts to access this Promotion or otherwise attempting to circumvent these Terms may have their subscriptions canceled without refund.

30% Premium-to-Premium+ Upgrade Promotion
- Eligibility
- Open to current Thrifty Traveler Premium subscribers only.
- New subscribers and current Premium+ subscribers are not eligible.
- Promotion Details
- Eligible Premium subscribers may upgrade to Premium+ at 30% off the upgrade price. The discounted upgrade cost will be pro-rated based on the time remaining in your current subscription year, and you’ll also receive 30% off the Premium+ add-on for your next full year.
- The 30% discount applies to the upgrade cost for the remainder of the current subscription year and the entire following subscription year.
- After the discounted upgrade period, your subscription will automatically renew at your locked Premium subscription rate plus the current regular Premium+ add-on price, unless canceled before the renewal date.
- The discount applies only to the upgrade price difference; it does not apply to the full Premium subscription fee.
- Promotion Period
- Available for a limited time, as specified in promotional materials.
