Holiday cheer is here in full force, and this weekend, it pays to be a little basic. Alaska Airlines has teamed up with hometown partner Starbucks to spread the seasonal spirit, one PSL at a time.

From today, Thursday, Nov. 7, through Nov. 10, the airline will give free priority boarding to any traveler with a holiday Starbucks cup in their hand. And it works on any Alaska flight in the U.S. Call it the “espresso lane.”

Here's how you can get priority boarding with your seasonal Starbucks cup this weekend.

What You Need to Know

Flying Alaska Airlines this weekend and in the spirit for priority boarding? Here's the low-down on this fun partnership:

  • Anyone with a Starbucks holiday cup flying on an Alaska Airlines operated flight will board in the special priority “espresso lane” before group B.
  • Available on all Alaska Airlines flights from Nov. 7 through Nov. 10.
  • Starbucks cups that count as holiday cups include: holiday to-go cups, reusable holiday cups, and holiday cup sleeves.
  • Your Starbucks cup does not have to be full to be eligible for priority boarding.

Didn't grab Starbucks this week or at the airport before your flight? Don't worry! Even if you don't get the priority boarding, some lucky Alaska fliers may find a surprise Starbucks treat on their seat this weekend.

Bottom Line

This is a small promotion, but it's a fun way to spread some holiday cheer.

Treat yourself to a coffee at the airport this weekend. Then skip toward the front of the boarding line while sipping on your Starbucks and get in the holiday spirit while flying Alaska.
