[Amex Offer] Spend $75 at Lyft Get $15 Back (20% off)
American Express has added a great new offer for rides with the rideshare service Lyft. Spend $75 at Lyft and get $15 back.
The offer is a one-time statement credit which must be used by November 27th, 2018. This Lyft Amex offer is targeted as I was only able to pull it up on 1 of my American Express cards.
This offer doesn’t need to be completed in one transaction. As with all Amex offers, you can reach the spending requirement over multiple transactions. This should be helpful as there isn’t a lot of situations requiring a $75 Lyft ride.
What is Lyft?
If you are not familiar with Lyft, it is a ride-sharing platform and Uber’s biggest competitor. The service is based in San Francisco, California and launched in 2012. For a full list of cities with Lyft service, visit this link.
You can even connect your Lyft account to your Delta SkyMiles account and earn 1x Delta SkyMiles for every dollar you spend at Lyft and 2x Delta SkyMiles for rides to and from any airport.
Thrifty Tip: Not yet a member of Lyft? Sign up using this link and we will both receive credit towards our next ride. This can be stacked with this Lyft Amex Offer.
Where to find Amex Offers
If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits (this is available through the Amex mobile app as well). If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.
Thrifty Tip: Not familiar with Amex Offers? See our complete guide to using Amex Offers.
I’m a fan of Amex offers because they’re basically free money for spending I am going to do anyhow. They also represent another way to justify the cost of a credit card annual fee. Make sure to check your various American Express credit cards because each one can have different offers. However, as mentioned above, it looks like this Lyft Amex offer is targeted. The offers change almost daily, so add this one now before it disappears.
