Hotels are going to great lengths to encourage travelers to stay with them during the pandemic. And perhaps no hotel is doing more than Hyatt.

On Tuesday, Hyatt announced its latest Bonus Journeys promotion for World of Hyatt members called. And while it’s not quite as lucrative as previous promotions, it could still make sense. You’ll earn 2,000 bonus World of Hyatt points for every two qualifying nights stayed between March 1 and June 15, 2021. Those nights don’t have to be completed consecutively to earn the bonus.

Got the World of Hyatt Credit Card? It gets even better: You’ll earn an extra 500 points for every two nights, for a total of 2,500 World of Hyatt points.

Additionally, as a part of this new Bonus Journeys promotion, all World of Hyatt members will earn a Free Night Award Certificate valid at any category 1-4 Hyatt hotel after staying 10 qualifying nights during the promotional period (March 1 – June 15, 2021). Critically, award stays booked using points count as qualifying nights.

This part of the promo would stack with the bonus points part of the promo, so staying 10 nights would earn you up to 12,500 World of Hyatt bonus points and a Free Night Award certificate on top of any points you would already be earning for your stay.

This free night certificate would be the same as the one you would earn just for holding the World of Hyatt Credit Card, and also by completing the Hyatt Brand Explorer challenge. It’s valid for 180 days after you earn it.

You can register for this Bonus Journeys promotion on Hyatt’s website starting today, but note that registration will close on May 15, 2021.

Other World of Hyatt Promotions Ending Soon

This new Bonus Journeys promotion will mark the end of a number of truly incredible promotions Hyatt has been running since last summer.

All of these promotions will end on February 28, 2021.

However, Hyatt has halved the requirements to earn elite status in 2021. Here’s how it looks for earning Hyatt status this year (which will last you all the way into early 2023). And this will be available through the end of 2021.

  • Discoverist: Stay five tier-qualifying nights OR earn 12,500 base points
  • Explorist: Stay 15 tier-qualifying nights OR earn 25,000 base points
  • Globalist: Stay 30 tier-qualifying nights or earn 50,000 base points

And of course, staying at Hyatt during this new Bonus Journeys promotion will also count towards your elite status qualifying nights.
