American Express has added a great new offer for upcoming stays at Hyatt properties in Mexico that will save you up to 20% off – and that includes their excellent Ziva and Zilara all-inclusive resorts.
If you spend $500 or more on an eligible Hyatt hotel stay, you’ll get $100 back. That’s up to 20% off your stay with Hyatt, though it's only valid through November 30, 2022.
This Hyatt Amex offer is a one-time statement credit valid for stays at select Hyatt properties throughout Mexico. Unfortunately, it does not include the nearly 60 new all-inclusive resorts Hyatt recently added to its portfolio, which it dubs the AMR Collection. That means the following brands are off-limits for this Amex offer:
- Dreams Resorts & Spas
- Zoetry Wellness & Spa Resorts
- Secrets Resorts & Spas
- Breathless Resorts & Spas
- Vivid Hotels & Resorts
- Alua Hotels & Resorts
- Sunscape Resorts & Spas
But properties like the Hyatt Ziva Cancún, the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, the Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancún, and all other Hyatt properties from Playa del Carmen to Mexico City and all across the country are fair game.
Like all Amex Offers, this is targeted – it may not be available to all cardholders. That said, this offer seems to be pretty widely available whether you've got The Platinum Card® from American Express, the American Express® Gold Card, and even co-branded Amex cards like Delta SkyMiles credit cards.
Just log in to your American Express Account and see if you can add it to your American Express card. If it's there, simply add it then use that Amex card to book a Hyatt stay in Mexico through Nov. 30, 2022.
Where to Find Amex Offers
If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits. It's available through the Amex mobile app as well.
If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.

This is one of the best Amex offers we’ve seen for Hyatt properties if you have plans for a Mexico trip this fall. And even if you don't, it's worth considering putting this offer to use.
