Earning points as normal when you stay at a Hilton, or not earning points at all? You're doing it wrong.
Hilton almost always has an ongoing promotion to earn bonus points on hotel stays. And while its latest promo is by no means enormous, it's an easy way to earn some extra points on Hilton stays in the coming months.
Hilton Honors just unveiled its new “More Nights, More Points” promotion, allowing travelers to earn up to 4,000 bonus points per stay. Here's how it works:
- Register and earn 2,000 bonus points on stays of up to three nights
- Register and earn 4,000 bonus points on stays of four nights or more
While that's far short of the double (or even triple) points accelerators we've seen in the past, there's no limit to how many bonus points you can earn with this new promotion.
Whether you've already got a Hilton stay lined up for later this year or not, it's worth registering for this promo to make sure you earn as many points as possible. Do it now before you forget!
Promos like this can help offset Hilton's unpredictable, often sky-high award rates. And again, there's no limit to how many bonus points you can earn through this promotion!
The only requirement is that you check out between June 1 and Aug. 15 to earn these bonus points. Even if your stay begins before June 1, but you don't check out until that date, you'll still qualify. You can also earn 2,000 points on award stays booked with Hilton Honors points and even Hilton free night certificates.
So whether you've already got an upcoming Hilton stay booked between now and Aug. 15 or not, it's a no-brainer to register since you won't earn these bonus points if you don't sign up for the promo beforehand. Hilton stays you've already booked will still earn this bonus, so long as you register before your trip.
How this Hilton Honors Promo Adds Up
Let's put this Hilton Honors promo into action with a handful of examples to show you just how much this promo can help you pile up some extra Hilton Honors points.
Let's say you're just an everyday Hilton Honors member with a two-night stay at the LondonHouse Chicago, paying about $450 a night for a weekend visit in July. If you don't register for this promo, you'd earn 9,000 Hilton Honors points since you (almost always) earn a flat 10x points per dollar.
So as long as you register for this new promo before your stay (but not necessarily before you book), that same stay would earn:
- Base points: 10 points per dollar X $450 X 2 nights = 9,000 Hilton Honors Points
- 2,000 bonus Hilton Honors Points
- 11,000 points total
If you booked a four-night stay at the same rate, you'd earn a total of 22,000 points with the 4,000-point bonus added on top of your base earnings.
But maybe you've got Hilton Honors™ Gold status – one of our favorites among the big hotel chains – from racking up previous Hilton stays or simply having the American Express Platinum Card®. On that same two-night stay in Chicago, you would earn:
- Base points: 10 points per dollar X $450 X 2 nights = 9,000 Hilton Honors Points
- Status bonus: 8 bonus points per dollar X $450 X 2 nights = 7,200 Hilton Honors Points
- 2,000 bonus Hilton Honors Points
- 18,200 points total

But the best is reserved for top-tier Hilton members who pay with a Hilton co-branded credit card, as that earns even more points for every buck you spend. So booking that same Chicago hotel using a *Hilton Aspire* – which also unlocks instant Hilton Honorsâ„¢ Diamond status – you would earn:
- Base points: 10 points per dollar X $450 X 2 nights = 9,000 Hilton Honors Points
- Status bonus: 10 bonus points per dollar X $450 X 2 nights = 9,000 Hilton Honors Points
- Credit card bonus: 14 points per dollar X $450 X 2 nights = 12,600 Hilton Honors Points
- 2,000 bonus Hilton Honors Points
- 32,600 points total
Bottom Line
No matter what's in your travel plans for this summer, it's easy to register for this promo to rack up some bonus Hilton points faster on any hotel stays from June 1 through Aug. 15, 2026. Earning 2,000 bonus points for stays up to three nights and 4,000 bonus points for stays of four nights or more isn't huge news, but it does add up.
Do it now before you forget!

The promo terms from Hilton says any consecutive nights will count as one stay, even if you split it up and check out/check in again.
