World of Hyatt has launched a lucrative promotion for stays at Hyatt’s luxurious Miraval Resorts through the end of January 2022.
For a limited time, when World of Hyatt members book a night at any of the Miraval Resorts with World of Hyatt points (starting at 45K points per night/per person), they will be awarded a second night free of charge. The promotion is good for stays between November 1, 2021, and January 31, 2022.
And reservations can be made starting today, Oct. 1, 2021, by calling Hyatt at 866.792.3395 and using the offer code Member Free Night at the time of booking.
Here are all the details you need to know about this new promotion.
Book a Night (with Hyatt points), Get One Free at Miraval
Miraval came to Hyatt via an acquisition a few years back. While it is one of the lesser-known brands in Hyatt’s portfolio, it is also one of the best. Miraval is a trio of adults-only, all-inclusive wellness resorts, with locations in Tucson, Arizona, Austin, Texas, and the Berkshires in Massachusetts. And if you are paying with cash, a stay can get pricey quickly.
If using Hyatt points, it normally costs 45,000 points each night for one person or 65,000 points per night for double occupancy in a standard room. If paying cash, that same night can easily run you north of $1,000. But if you are able to take advantage of this promotion, a two-night stay (for two people) would work out to be a very reasonable 32,500 Hyatt points each night!
There are a few things to consider, however. First, the offer is not valid on Fridays and Saturdays. And it also will not be available from Dec. 24 to Dec. 31, 20221.
It is also worth noting that when you book an award stay at Miraval, in addition to all meals and certain included activities, you’ll also get a $175 resort credit per night for each person. This can be used on spa treatments, alcoholic beverages (not included in the all-inclusive rate), and additional resort activities that charge a fee.

How to Earn World of Hyatt Points
You might be saying to yourself, “This sounds great, but I don’t have any Hyatt points.” Don’t worry.
You don’t need to be a road warrior who constantly stays at Hyatt hotels to earn enough points for a Miraval stay. There are a few different credit cards that make earning Hyatt points relatively simple and straightforward.
The first is obvious: the World of Hyatt Credit Card. Just for opening the card and spending $3,000 in the first three months of card membership, you will receive 30,000 World of Hyatt points. From there, you’ll also earn 2x points on up to $15,000 of spending in the first six months. That’s 60,000 points total.
The card has a $95 annual fee which is not waived for the first year of card membership. However, starting in year two, it offers an annual free night certificate to be used at any Hyatt category 1-4 property. None of the Ziva and Zilara hotels are eligible for the free night certificate. Still, that should be reason enough to justify the annual fee.

In addition to the World of Hyatt Credit Card, you can also earn Hyatt points by transferring points from Chase Ultimate Rewards. Because Hyatt is one of the airline and hotel transfer partners of Chase’s Ultimate Rewards program, you can transfer Ultimate Rewards points into your World of Hyatt account at a 1:1 ratio. This means one Chase point will equal one World of Hyatt point.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is currently offering a welcome offer bonus of 100,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months of card membership.
This card also has an annual fee of $95 which is not waived in the first year of card membership. However, the welcome offer bonus alone is worth at least $1,250, and often times much more.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is another option for earning Ultimate Rewards points. While the Sapphire Reserve earns the same Ultimate Rewards points, it offers a number of premium benefits that push the card’s annual fee to $550 a year. Just for holding the card, you’ll get an annual $300 credit that can be used for any travel expense. The credit happens automatically and makes it easy to trim down that annual fee to just $250 a year if you can use it.
It also offers a credit of up to $100 every four years to cover the cost of either Global Entry or TSA PreCheck, a Priority Pass lounge membership that will get you into thousands of airport lounges and restaurants across the world, and many other premium benefits.
The card earns 60,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points after spending a total of $4,000 in the first three months of card membership.
