JetBlue is running an eye-popping, one-day-only sale for December flights … and it just might be your ticket to a last-minute Christmas or New Year's Eve trip.
The “Sale-ebrate in a flash” sale launched Thursday, featuring dozens of routes with one-way flights as low as $25 for travel through the end of the month. But move fast: The sale ends at midnight or while tickets last.Â
These lowest fares are in JetBlue basic economy – the airline calls them “Blue Basic” tickets – and there's a catch: Unless you've got JetBlue Mosaic status, you can't bring a carry-on. Still, these are some dirt-cheap fares for what's typically one of the most expensive times to fly.

It only includes availability on Christmas Day at the lowest price of $25 each way, but plenty of other cheap fares over the next few weeks. We noticed that on multiple city pairs with this deal.
But if you are willing to book one-way fares or stomach a more normal return fare, you can cash in huge. This Austin (AUS) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) one-way fare on New Year's Eve is running at just $24!
The deal may take some trial and error, but can be well worth the effort if you want to book a cheap flight today for the holiday season.
