At Thrifty Traveler, we strive to help others spend less and travel more. One of the ways we do this is by finding you cheap flight deals. If you’ve been following Thrifty Traveler for a while now, you may have heard of our Premium offering and may be curious about how Thrifty Traveler Premium works. In this post, we will answer those questions and show you just how simple it is to save money on international flight deals.

What is Thrifty Traveler Premium?

Thrifty Traveler Premium is our subscription-based email service that delivers 1-3 international flight deals each day directly to your email inbox. These deals depart from over 75 US departure cities and you currently have the ability to set a region filter to tailor the deals you want to see. In the very near future, we will be rolling out airport specific filtering that will allow you to only get emails for deals that depart from the airports you select.

Thrifty Tip #1: See our post on the deals you missed in April without Thrifty Traveler Premium.

Thrifty Tip #2: In addition to the 40+ flight deals you will receive each month, you can also take advantage of our free credit card consulting service.

Once you find the itinerary that you want, you can book them right with the airline. There may even be a chance to book the deal with the online travel agency (OTA), Momondo, to save even more money. If that is the case, the information will be provided in the email notification.

Thrifty Tip #3: Don’t wait to book the deals as they don’t last long! Remember, if you book a flight, there is a free 24-hour cancellation policy on US flights*.

Bottom Line

Our Premium deals save our subscribers an average of $250 or more off of regular priced fares. Even if you only book one flight a year, that’s enough savings to pay for 10 years of Thrifty Traveler Premium. You get all of this for the equivalent cost of one cup of coffee a month. So what are you waiting for? Sign up for Thrifty Traveler Premium and don’t miss out on a flight deal again.

does your site cover business and first class sites

I know the majority of your deals cover economy only seats. As someone who is far too tall to fly economy on international legs, what kind of options are there for taking advantage of these deals but needing to move into a premium economy/economy comfort type situation? This is my reservation about TTP being useful for me.

We post 1-2 Premium Economy / Business Class flights per month. You also have the option of purchasing seats with extra legroom even on cheap economy deals. Give premium a shot, you have 30 days to try it risk free 🙂

Is the subscriber cost have to be done every year or does it automatically renew?? if so, how easy is it to cancel??
