T-Mobile offers unlimited 4G data for European travel!
T-Mobile announced today that they will offer giving customers unlimited high-speed data, up to 4G LTE speeds, throughout Europe all summer long. But, T-Mobile didn’t stop there. For those travelling this weekend, T-Mobile announced it’s giving absolutely everyone – including Verizon and AT&T customers who never get thanked by their carrier – a full, free hour of Wi-Fi on all Gogo-equipped domestic flights. Another smart move to lure more customers to T-Mobile.
The unlimited 4G starts July 1 and ends August 31. T-Mobile’s giving Simple Choice customers unlimited high-speed data across all of Europe – all at absolutely no additional cost – so you can share, Skype and snap every moment of your European holiday. Even with 2G or 3G speeds, I’ve always been able to make Skype calls and use Google Maps to navigate, but having 4G speeds will make it that much better.
I’ve had T-Mobile service for the last three years and it’s been great for international travel. In addition to the free international data, my favorite feature is free Wi-Fi calling, which allows you to make free calls as long as you’re on a Wi-Fi connection. Wi-Fi calling is especially useful when you’re out of the country.
Gone are the days of having to buy a foreign SIM when you landed on your vacation. T-Mobile service automatically connects to a foreign network provider on landing and the service starts immediately. It’s that easy.
We don’t get paid by T-Mobile for these articles. We’re just big fans of the service. T-Mobile doesn’t require an expensive contract and it’s generally cheaper than other providers. T-Mobile can easily save you some cash and offer great benefits such as Wi-Fi calling, free hour of Gogo internet, and free international data.
