Starting on Tuesday, May 21, Capital One has added a $100 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit to the Captial One Spark Miles for Business credit card.

Cardholders can simply charge the application fee to their card and they will be automatically reimbursed up to $100. The benefit can be used once every four years and membership in both programs requires renewal every five years. The benefit will be available for both new and existing cardholders.

It’s just the latest credit card to add this benefit, a great way to get Global Entry or TSA PreCheck for free. And it comes almost one year to the date Capital One rolled out a $100 credit on their Capital One Venture Credit card.

Our Analysis

The addition of a Global Entry/TSA PreCheck credit to the Capital One Spark Miles for Business card adds to the growing list of cards offering this benefit. As a plus, it’s one of the only business credit cards now offering this benefit.

The other notable business card offering this benefit is the Business Platinum Card from American Express that boasts a much higher annual fee at $595 but does provide a host of premium benefits. So for small business owners, this could be a great perk.

Bottom Line

This is a great addition from Captial One and it seems to make sense as the Spark Miles for Business card closely mirrors the personal Venture card. With a 50,000 mile sign up bonus and a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit you can easily get $600 of value out of the card in the first year alone.
