Southwest is running a promotion on select domestic & international flights from October through March. But act fast, because these rates expire October 10th!

Some cities have flights as low as $49 each way. A few examples of the many flight deal options included in this sale are listed below, but check out the full list of fares to find the best deals from your home city. This sale ends on October 10th at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Thrifty Tip #1: Southwest does not charge for checked bags or carry-on.

Thrifty Tip #2: You can cancel any Southwest flight and be given a voucher for later use in 2019 (no fee). If you book with points you can also cancel with no fee and the points are re-deposited.

Thrifty Tip #3: Have elite status with another airline? Match it to Southwest’s A-List status.

  • Book by 10/10 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
  •  Nonrefundable. Seats, travel days, and markets limited. Blackout dates apply.
  • Continental U.S. travel valid October 22, 2019, through March 4, 2020.
  • Travel to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico valid October 29 through December 5, 2019, and January 13 through March 5, 2020.
  • International travel valid October 29 through December 11, 2019, and January 7 through March 5, 2020.

    Hi – I have never received a Mistake Fare alert! Do they happen very rarely or am I looking in the wrong place??

      Hi Barbara! Are you referring to Thrifty Traveler Premium? If you’re a subscriber, you’ll get any and all mistake fares, unadvertised flash sales, and international flight deals to your email. They are not posted to the site. Mistake fares are rare, but when they happen, you’ll get a Premium notification via email immediately!
