Amazon Prime Day is here, and there are plenty of goodies for travelers at deeply discounted prices.

But there are a handful of ways to save even more on your Prime Day shopping. If you’ve got a card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards (like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card or Chase Sapphire Reserve) or American Express Membership Rewards (like the Platinum Card from American Express or American Express Gold Card), you might be eligible for some great offers.

By applying just 1 point to your transaction, you can save up to $50 on your total purchase. Here are some of the best ways to make your Prime Day shopping even cheaper.

Save $30 on $60 in Amazon Purchases with Amex

We see offers like this one occasionally, and it’s here in time for Prime Day.

If you’ve got an American Express card that earns Membership Rewards points, you may be able to easily shave $30 off your Amazon bill. You’ll need to link your Membership Rewards account with Amazon, which you can do by clicking here.

Then see if you’re eligible for this money-saving offer by heading to the promo page. Some cardholders who have used American Express points toward an Amazon purchase in the last 12 months won’t be eligible, but these savings are worth checking.

Add $60 or more in items shipped by Amazon to your cart. Then, when you go to check out, add just 1 Amex point to your purchase – type in “.01.” Amazon may default to trying to pay the entire balance with Amex points, which is not a good deal.

Complete your purchase and voila – you saved $30 easy!

Save $15 on $60 in Purchases with Chase

This Chase promotion works just like the American Express offer above – it’s just a bit less lucrative.

But if you’ve got Ultimate Rewards points, this one is still worth taking advantage of. Simply link your Chase account to Amazon, then head to the promo page to see if you’re eligible.

If you are, add $60 in Amazon-shipped good to your cart, check out, and add just 1 Chase Ultimate Rewards point to your purchase. It will shave $15 off your total price.

Save 20% (up to $50) with Amex

If you’re buying a lot on Prime Day, this is the offer for you.

It works just like the previous Amex offer, but on steroids. Buy $250 or more, and you can save up to $50 with this 20% discount by applying 1 Amex Membership Reward point.

Make sure your Amex and Amazon accounts are linked and get to shopping from the best Prime Day Deals. If you’re eligible for this offer, just apply 1 Amex point at check-out and your 20% discount will apply automatically.

Save 25% on Amazon Devices with Amex

If you’re in the market for a Kindle or another Amazon device, look no further.

This could drop the price of a new, 8GB Kindle Paperwhite down to just $64. It will save you up to $50 on eligible Amazon devices.

Again, it’s as simple as linking your Amex account with Amazon, adding an eligible device to your cart, checking out and applying just 1 Amex Membership Reward point to your total to activate your discount. Check to see if you’re eligible for this offer and add it to your account!

Bottom Line

If you’re already on the hunt for Prime Day deals, use one of these offers to save even more.
