Chase Announces Q3 2018 Freedom Bonus Categories
Chase has announced the new bonus categories on their Freedom card for the third quarter of 2018. If you are not familiar with the Chase Freedom credit card, it is a phenomenal no annual fee, cash back card that offers an increased cash back rate on rotating categories on a quarterly basis. Learn more about this card and other travel rewards credit cards here.
Chase Freedom cardholders will earn 5% cash back (up to $1,500) at Walgreens, Lyft & gas stations in quarter three of 2018. Chase Freedom customers can activate the Q3 offers starting on Friday, June 15th for spending between July 1st and September 30th.
As an added bonus, if you hold a Chase Sapphire Reserve or a Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, the cash back can be moved into your Ultimate Rewards points balance. Because of this, you would effectively be earning 5X Ultimate Rewards on the bonus categories from the Freedom card. This is a great deal and the reason I often recommend the Chase Freedom card as a compliment to the Sapphire credit cards.
