No Posts until later Today due to the Electronics Ban (flying from Qatar)

I’ll be spending the next 13 hours flying from Doha, Qatar to New York. Sadly, I have to check all of my electronics with the exception of my phone. I am traveling on a business class flight deal from earlier this year, so we will be provided some sort of laptop or tablet. I’ll be honest, I don’t know exactly what to expect.

It will be interesting to see how Qatar Airways handles the logistics of collecting all my electronic gear, packing it up, inventorying it, and then distributing it back to me in New York. Expect a full report on Friday. We’ll hit the ground running when we land later this afternoon.

I am interested in hearing about your experience after you land. My fiancé and I will be flying from Minneapolis to Maldives via Qatar airways for our honeymoon in three weeks.

    • Hey Maya,

Just landed at JFK. I think you will love Qatar Airways, even in Economy. Shoot me an email (check out our about section) and I’d be gald to discuss more.

      Cheers,

      Jared
