[Amex Offer] Save up to $160 for Stays at Select Marriott Hotels
American Express has added four new Amex offers for stays at select Marriott Hotels. Spend $200 or more at Fairfield by Mariott, Courtyard by Marriott, Four Points Sheraton and Springhill Suites and get $40 back.
These Marriott Amex offers are a one-time statement credit which must be used by January 31st, 2019. You have to be targeted for this offer to qualify, but I was able to pull them up on most of my American Express cards.
These offers are only valid for stays at these specific hotel chains. All other Marriott brands will not qualify. Further, this offer can only be used at properties in the United States and U.S. territories for SpringHill Suites and Fairfield by Marriott stays, while Courtyard and Four Points by Sheraton stays in the US and Puerto Rico are eligible.
Finally, these offers don’t need to be completed in one fell swoop. As with all Amex offers, you can reach the spending requirement over multiple transactions.
Where to find Amex Offers
If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits (this is available through the Amex mobile app as well). If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.
Thrifty Tip: Not familiar with Amex Offers? See our complete guide to using Amex Offers.
I’m a fan of Amex offers because they’re basically free money for spending I am going to do anyhow. Those added savings are just another way to justify the cost of a credit card annual fee. Make sure to check your various American Express credit cards because each one can have different offers. But it looks like these Marriott Amex offers are pretty widely available. The offers change almost daily, so add this one now before it disappears.
