Jennifer Aniston mocks US airlines while promoting Emirates
The marketing department at Emirates deserves a raise for their latest ad campaign, where Jennifer Aniston mocks US airlines. The premise of the one-minute advertisement is that Aniston had a bad dream she was on an American airline with no onboard shower. She then wakes up relieved that she is flying first class on an Emirates A380 with a shower as well as a fully stocked bar with bartender (they serve Dom Perignon).
Sources say Emirates paid Jennifer Aniston $5 million dollars to be the new face of the Dubai based airline. I will say that is money well spent, because the video already has over 1 million views in the first 24 hours. Hopefully, this video will encourage US airlines to up their game because Persian Gulf and Pacific-based airlines are currently the top players as far as first class amenities are concerned.
Mrs. TT flew Emirates from Milan to New York earlier this year on the Boeing 777 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, even in coach. I’ve yet to try out Emirates but this ad makes me want to take a shower in the sky.
