Fairmont has some of the most iconic hotels in North America, like the Fairmont Lake Louise near Banff. Whether you’re looking for a getaway in Canada or the U.S. later this year, this is the deal for you.

These hotels are the epitome of luxury. From amazing historical buildings, beautiful surroundings, excellent service, and my personal favorite, Le Labo toiletries, Fairmont hotels do not disappoint.

Fairmont’s new “Stay Close” promo gets you every second night free at seven properties in the U.S. and Canada. You have to book by mid-to-late June to qualify, but it’s valid for stays through the end of the year!

Unfortunately, the Canadian border is still closed to U.S. tourists until June 21 – and that could get extended. But you could hedge your bets and plan a trip to Banff, Lake Louise,  Jasper Park, or Whistler for later in 2020, using this BOGO offer to stay at Fairmont for cheaper.

The Hotels & How to Book

To take advantage of this promo you’ll have to book through the “Stay Close” offer page. A promo code is applied when you search the rooms through this page.

Mr. TT and I have stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs (featured image) and the Fairmont Jasper Park and had incredible experiences at both.

The Fairmont Banff Springs was built in 1928 in the foothills of the Candian Rockies and it feels like staying in a castle. Enjoy golfing, hiking, and bowling in the basement bowling alley.

The Fairmont Jasper Park is located just a few hours north of Banff in the lesser-known Jasper National Park. The lodge is situated on a lake with multiple cabins dotted along the shore. You can kayak, bike, and hike all around the property. It is incredibly peaceful and much less visited than Banff.

Fairmont Cancellation Policy

Many hotels have updated their cancellation policies due to COVID-19 and are offering guests more flexibility. The cancellation policies for Fairmont vary from hotel to hotel, but many allow cancellation with no penalty up to a certain time before your arrival date.

To find the cancellation policy for a specific hotel you’ll have to search for a room and then click on the Room Rate Summary. You can then view the cancellation policy for that specific room.

In this case, you would be able to cancel up to one week before arrival.

Bottom Line

Fairmont has some beautiful properties and this is one of the best deals we’ve seen. Make sure to double-check the cancelation policy and plan far enough out to take advantage of this promo.
