Earn up to 1,000 Bonus Delta SkyMiles for Online Shopping
Whether you’re earning points, miles, or cash back, you should always use online shopping portals when you’re getting that e-retail fix. And Delta’s SkyMiles Shopping Portal has a great promotion for back-to-school shopping.
Through Aug. 18, you can earn up to 1,000 bonus SkyMiles on purchases made through Delta’s shopping portal. If you make $150 or more in purchases by the deadline, you’ll earn a 500-SkyMile bonus. By spending $350 or more through the portal, it’s a total of 1,000 bonus SkyMiles. The bonus was first reported by The Points Guy.
Keep this promotion in mind if you’ve got some big purchases coming up, as it’s an easy way to get some extra miles out of the money you’d be spending anyway. Just be sure to head to the Delta SkyMiles Shopping Portal and log in first before clicking through to make your purchases in order to earn the bonus.
And there are a few things to keep in mind to get even more out of this promo. For starters, you don’t need to make a $350-plus purchase in one fell swoop to get the big bonus. So long as you cumulatively spend $350 or more through Delta’s portal by the deadline, you’ll get the 1,000 bonus SkyMiles.
Delta’s shopping portal also has some enhanced bonuses for specific retailers: 6x SkyMiles at eBags, 4x SkyMiles at Dick’s Sporting Goods and Gap, and so on. And the great news is that you’ll separately earn the bonus miles for those individual purchases. Check out all the current offers through the SkyMiles Shopping Portal.
For example, let’s say you spend $360 on back-to-school clothes at the Gap. That would trigger the 1,000 SkyMiles bonus, plus you’d earn another 1,440 SkyMiles ($360 x 4) for the spend itself. That’s an extra 2,440 SkyMiles for the money you’d be spending anyhow!

This is a great promotion, perfectly timed for the back-to-school shopping season. Add in some of the extra bonuses you can get at certain retailers, and it’s an easy way to pile up a few thousand SkyMiles. Just make sure to finish your shopping by Aug. 18.
