Aeroplan, the lucrative mileage program of Air Canada, has just partnered up with Uber Eats to allow you to earn bonus miles on your food delivery orders. And they're kicking it off with an amazing promotion: earn 10x miles per dollar spent on Uber Eats orders from today, June 9, through next Monday, June 15.

Aeroplan is one of the best – especially if you're trying to fly business class from the U.S. to Europe and Asia. You can transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to your Aeroplan account, but this new Uber Eats partnership is a great way to stack up even more miles.

Here's how it works:

  1. If you're ordering in the U.S. or Canada, just go to aeroplan.com/ubereats
  2. Click on the “Shop Now” button, then enter your Aeroplan Number and last name. You'll be redirected to Uber Eats.
  3. Complete your order through the Uber Eats app or website.

It's that simple. For the next week, you'll earn 10 miles per dollar on your Uber Eats orders. After that, Aeroplan says you'll earn 2 Aeroplan miles per dollar.

It gets even better if you've got the Platinum Card from American Express. That's because you get up to $200 per year in Uber (or Uber Eats) credits, with up to $15 available each month – and a bonus of up to $35 in December. So you could earn some bonus Aeroplan miles and put your order on your Platinum card to save some money in the process.

Thrifty Tip: The standard bonus on the Amex Platinum card is 60,000 points after spending $5,000 in three months, but check to see if you're targeted for a whopping 100,000-point bonus via Cardmatch!

Bottom Line

This is a great partnership and an easy way to keep stacking up Aeroplan miles – especially when we're all ordering more takeout and delivery.
