Delta SkyMiles Flash Sale: Caribbean Island Getaways from 12K RT!
Here’s your chance at a cheap Caribbean vacation. With Delta’s lastest Skymiles flash sale, you can book it starting at just 12,000 SkyMiles round-trip!
Delta is advertising this sale from a handful of cities across the U.S. to Caribbean hotspots like Aruba (AUA), Turks and Caicos (PLS), San Juan (SJU), and more. But we’ve found far better deals than what Delta is publicizing, with more routes on sale. So be sure to search some destinations from your home airport to see what’s available!
There are published fares like Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) to Aruba (AUA) for 60,000 SkyMiles, which isn’t exactly a steal. You can fly to the Bahamas (NAS) from New York City-JFK (JFK) for just 14,000 SkyMiles round trip – a great deal by any measure.
But then there are some absolutely incredible deals that Delta isn’t advertising.
- Miami (MIA) to Turks and Caicos (PLS) for just 12,000 SkyMiles round trip
- New York City-JFK (JFK) to Grand Cayman (GCM) for only 14,000 SkyMiles round trip
- Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) to Turks and Caicos (PLS) and back for 28,000 SkyMiles
- Chicago-O’Hare (ORD) to Grand Cayman (GCM) for 24,000 SkyMiles round trip
And many, many more. There are plenty of great deals to the Caribbean, so search to see what you can find from your home airport!
Delta says most of these fares are only available in September. But we’re seeing some cheap availability on some of these routes all the way out into November and beyond!
Thrifty Tip: When booking with SkyMiles, make sure to select “Calendar View” and “5 weeks” to maximize the dates viewable.

These flash sales are one of the best ways to use your Delta SkyMiles. And while there are some decent deals in the list Delta has publicized, there are some truly incredible trips you could take for as few as 12,000 SkyMiles round-trip. The best deals are never advertised!
Flights to Turks and Caicos are typically very expensive. But you can get there from Boston (BOS) and back for just 14,000 SkyMiles round trip!
The one thing to keep in mind with these fares is that most come with some cash fees, typically between $85 and $100 round trip. Those fees are unavoidable with international travel to the Caribbean. Keep your cash costs lower by going to the U.S. Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico, where you also don’t need a passport!
Delta SkyMiles get a bad rap, but these sales are a big part of the reason why we think they can be insanely valuable. Booking domestic flights for under 20,000 SkyMiles round trip can be difficult, so some of these deals to the best (and expensive) hotspots in the Caribbean are insane.
There’s no better way to use your SkyMiles.
