Let’s just get right to it: This is the best SkyMiles deal we’ve seen in years. Or maybe ever.

You can fly from almost any airport in the U.S. to European cities big and small in Delta One business class for just 98,000 SkyMiles round-trip. That’s not an error or a typo. This is one of the lowest rates we’ve ever seen to fly business class to Europe, and you can do it this winter or spring with SkyMiles.

Most airlines charge at least 70,000 miles each way for a business class seat to Europe. Delta itself typically charges 250,000 SkyMiles or more for a one-way flight. So, yeah, a round-trip flight in business class for 98,000 SkyMiles is an absolute steal.

You’ll find the best availability between Dec. 24 and April 18, 2020, which means you can book this deal for Christmas or New Year’s Eve in Europe. But hurry to book, as Delta says these rates will disappear after Thursday, Nov. 14.

The best part about this deal is just how wide open your options are. Delta is advertising this sale on its SkyMiles deals page – but as usual, it’s far bigger than the airline is letting on. You can fly round-trip business class from almost anywhere in the U.S. to most European cities for 98,000 SkyMiles round-trip.

Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) to Amsterdam (AMS)? Done for 98,000 SkyMiles. Chicago-O’Hare (ORD) to Rome (FCO)? 98,000 SkyMiles. Williston, North Dakota (XWA) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG)? Again, just 98,000 SkyMiles. Be sure to search from your home airport!

You can even fly to some hard-to-reach cities in Eastern Europe like St. Petersburg, Russia (LED); Kyiv, Ukraine (KBP); or Ljubljana, Slovenia (LJU) at these dirt-cheap rates. And it extends into northern Africa – Casablanca, Morocco (CMN) makes the cut!

Check out the full list of departure cities and destinations available below, though keep in mind that availability will vary widely.

You’ll even find some routes with swanky Delta One suites, with fully closing doors and comfortable seats. But another great option is Delta’s refurbished Boeing 767-400s, which are being put on more and more flights to Europe. Just look for the”Flagship” marker for Delta One Suites and “New Interior” for the overhauled 767 Delta One cabin.

Thrifty Tip #1: Use a five-week calendar view to zero in on flights at these low rates.

Thrifty Tip #2: Minimize your fees by avoiding airports like London-Heathrow (LHR) or Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG). Amsterdam (AMS), Madrid (MAD), and Barcelona carry some of the lowest cash fees, around $50 round-trip!

Thrifty Tip #3: Want to fly the new Delta One Suite? Select flights from Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), and Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) have availability.

Thrifty Tip #4: Looking to boost your SkyMiles balance for the next flash sale? Consider the Platinum Card from American Express, whose points can transfer to Delta!

Our Analysis

Getting to Europe in style has never been so easy or cheap.

This is truly one of the best SkyMiles deals we’ve ever seen – and that’s saying something. A round-trip flight to Europe in business class for under 100,000 SkyMiles is a great deal, and one you won’t find using almost any other airline miles. So while Delta gets a bad rap for its unpredictable SkyMiles pricing system, this is the upside.

Just how easy it is to find these rates will vary by your departure and destination cities, so be sure to use Delta’s flexible date function to lock in dates at just 98,000 SkyMiles. Here’s a look at flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) to Madrid (MAD).

There are plenty of flights available into European hotspots like London, Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, or Madrid. But one of our favorite parts about this sale is that you can also get to harder-to-reach cities and still use just 98,000 SkyMiles! Even business class to Athens (ATH) is within reach!

Delta SkyMiles get a bad rap, and there’s no denying they can be tough to use well ever since the airline pulled its award chart – the cheat sheet that lays out how many miles you need to book a given flight. But flash sales like this one are a big part of the reason why SkyMiles are worth it.

Bottom Line

Don’t sleep on this deal. This is one of the best ways to use your SkyMiles that we’ve ever seen. So book your business class trip to Europe for 98,000 before this deal disappears tomorrow, Nov. 14!
