Our Analysis

This deal starts at 5,500 SkyMiles for one way award tickets and also offers a cash fare portion of the sale. If you have travel needs between the cities included in this sale, you simply are not going to find cheaper rates when using miles with the other two legacy carriers (American & United).

Bottom Line

Delta continues to impress with their solid monthly flash sales. These sales are one of the main reasons we place a higher value on the SkyMiles program than most. With the lack of an award chart, Delta can effectively charge you as many SkyMiles as they please for an award ticket. What many fail to realize is that this can often work in your favor as is the case with this deal.
