Getting to Europe in the summer is rarely cheap, especially if you want to sit anywhere other than a cramped economy seat. Delta’s latest SkyMiles Flash sale changes that – in a big way.

You can fly from the U.S. to Amsterdam (AMS) or Paris (CDG) in Delta Premium Select – the airline’s great new premium economy offering – from July through October for just 68,000 SkyMiles round trip. These are big, modern recliner seats with more legroom, better meals, and upgraded service. And Delta is selling these flights for the same amount of miles most airlines charge for economy!

Delta Premium Select Sale Europe

Delta is advertising this deal, but as usual, it’s available from far more cities than what Delta lists. In fact, these great rates are available nationwide from almost every airport with Delta service, including tiny airports like Hibbing (HIB), Akron (CAK), Little Rock (LIT), and more. You’ll only find Premium Select flying into Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Amsterdam (AMS). Search from your hometown to see what you can find!

Delta says you have to book by Saturday, June 29 to score these rates. But these prices are so low, many routes are already disappearing.

Delta Premium Select Sale Europe

Flights are available from early July through October, if you want to visit in the peak summer season or later in the fall. At 68,000 SkyMiles from almost any airport, big or small, this is a steal. Delta’s Premium Select is a big step up from normal economy, making it a solid option for anyone who wants more space to spread out without the cost of business class.

Read our review of Delta’s Premium Select seats on the long flight from Detroit (DTW) to Seoul-Incheon (ICN).

Thrifty Tip: Nonstops are available from Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), and Los Angeles (LAX). All other departure airports will connect through one of these cities flying Comfort Plus before getting Premium Select for the long-haul flight.

These flash sales are among the best ways to use your SkyMiles. Delta and most airlines charge at least 60,000 miles for a round-trip flight in economy. Delta normally charges 120,000 SkyMiles or more to fly Premium Select to Europe!

Our Analysis

Delta is on an absolute roll with some amazing flash sales – especially the ones it isn’t advertising.

In the last week, we’ve also found unadvertised flash sales to Iceland as low as 24,000 SkyMiles round trip or to South America from just 12,000 SkyMiles!

Delta Premium Select Sale Europe

But this deal is equally fantastic, especially because airports big and small nationwide get some love. Being able to fly in comfort from a tiny town in the Midwest to Europe and back for just 68,000 SkyMiles is a treat.

Delta Premium Select Sale Europe

Most of these fares will have between $55 and $90 in cash fees, which is reasonable for a round-trip flight to Europe. Flying Premium Select, you’ll get much more room, tasty meals that put economy to shame, and better service. All fares come with priority boarding, advanced seat select, and a free checked bag!

Bottom Line

Delta is on a tear with these amazing SkyMiles flash sales lately.

These sales are one of the main reasons why we value SkyMiles more than most. Delta can be tough to grasp because it doesn’t have an award chart, and that means they often charge an arm and a leg for an award flight. But that freedom also comes with tremendous upside. So take advantage and get to Europe in style for 68,000 SkyMiles round trip!
